Yeah, when I was active in it Belive in the Run, Road Trail Run, Jamison Michael, Seth DeMoor, and a few smaller channels all posted regularly. Kind of miss that group even though it was full of crazy people. Lots of info. I basically only used FB for that group and FB marketplace lol

Saw on Twitter a picture of the Next% 2. Looks like the Atom Flyknit upper with the same Next% midsole. Was a blue/green color.

I'm waiting to see what Saucony does with the Endorphin line for this year. I think the Pro has a chance to be just as good or better than the Next%.

Ben Johnson on Instagram put up a post about those. Apparently it’s not AtomKnit or Vaporweave. It’s some sort of new mesh upper, said it’s more open than AtomKnit.

He’s a good follow, somehow always has inside scoop. Though he’s affiliated this Believe in the Run now so maybe that’s part of it.

Haven’t heard anything yet about an updated Endorphin line. I’d guess Saucony doesn’t mess with it much, maybe some tweaks to the upper. Sounds like they’ve nailed the midsole and overall geometry.

Just spent some time in New Balance and they sent me home with a pair of 860s. First time taking things like my gait and overpronation seriously.

Anyone use these (the new model)? I can definitely tell a difference them compared to my previous 10 year old generic Nike running shoes when it comes to the arch support. I suspect it will make a difference in how I feel long term.

Had my first fast day ( for me @ 6:40-8:00 one minute bursts ) in the Saucony Endorphin Speed and it was great. Big fan and it will be fun to run in these during my 2021 plans. I'm going to pull the trigger on the Pro or their new version for my fall races.

That upper is going to break a lot of hearts. Looks like there’s an underlay that wraps around the toe area similar to the alpha. This will guarantee that if you chose race fit, every single one of your toes will blister just like in the alpha. There also appears to be an overlay on the inside where the big toe bends? Also blister city. I’d stick with the ones. Nike taking a sheet out of the adidas playbook and turning their racers into fashion statements and resting on their laurels. Let us not forget that Nike made terrible running shoes for 15 years prior to the vaporfly. Looks like they’re heading back in that direction.

I love my Pro's and Speeds. I'm about to order my second pair of Speeds as I have put over 300 miles on them and they are starting to wear.

My wife bought me the NB RC Elite for Christmas and they are as close to the Next% that I have found. The major downside is that for some reason my big toe on my left foot rubs and blisters. I can only wear them for 6-7 miles before I can't take it anymore. I've tried different socks, lacing, etc and no luck. I don't get it because I don't have this issue in the Fuel Cell TC. Very frustrating because they really are awesome.

6 miles in these today - Asics Gel-Nimbus Lite 2. Man, fantastic shoe. I originally wanted these but they were sold out on release, so I found the NB 1080’s on sale and got those. These came back in stock, I ordered, it was a false alarm and Asics cancelled my order but gave me 25% off a future purchase. I also had my fiancé’s 40% healthcare worker discount so when they came back in stock Thursday I ordered. $150 retail, got them for $65 and Asics has a distribution hub near Memphis so they got here quick.

First impressions: these are awesome. I went half size down and the fit is perfect. Snug and padded heal, nice accommodating forefoot. Compared to the NB 1080, slightly less stack but a more bouncy and firm ride. Really a great midsole. They look sweet too.

Asics seems to be getting some hype recently with the Metaracer, Novablast, Gel Nimbus Lite 2, etc. I got a pair of the Hyper Speed recently and am excited to try them out.

Their flyte foam blast midsole they use in the novablast has a lot of potential.

I don’t want to go back through the entire thread to see if they’re talked about. Does anyone have On running shoes, if so do you think they’re worth it?

I’ve not run in On’s but based on what I’ve read, I think there are better options for less money.

I liked the NB 1080’s. Still need to take the Hoka Carbons out for a test run. Running Warehouse accidentally sent me 2 pairs of each shoe. So I returned 1 set and I’m about to order some Endorphin Pros bc the Speeds are out of stock in my size.

I can’t recall any other shoe getting unanimous praise. Some reviewers saying it’s the best nonplated shoe they’ve ever run in. Definitely intriguing.

I'm definitely interested in the rebel v2 and I don't even like NB. mainly run in zoom fly original but basically can't find them anymore. Didn't like ZF3. anyone got other recommendations for daily runner that would be similar ride to OG zoom fly?

Yes! Love the FuelCell line. The Propel v1 was one of my favorite (if not favorite) shoes ever.
