Pegasus turbo 2 have been discontinued and are on discount everywhere.

Saucony endorphin speed that we’ve been talking about is a great daily trainer, but not much ground feel.

Yeah I didn't think they were gonna release until 11/1. I really like that shoe. I like a lot of cushion.

Appreciate it. Just ordered the Pegasus Turbo 2. My Boston’s are shot, so hopefully a good replacement.

I need to go try on those Sauconys. Very used to a more tempo shoe - wondering if all the cushion is too much.

Anyone have a review on the Reebok floatride energy 2.0 or floatride symmetros?

I’m thinking of picking up one of those. I have been running in ON’s but they just don’t have a soft enough ride for me.

If anyone is looking for N%, Alphas, etc. check out Heartbreak Hill Running Co.’s website. It’s a local outfit on the S Side of Chicago that I went to when I was in town. Cool little shop. It’s where I ordered my N% when no one else had them. I see they have some fresh Mango color designs in all the plated Nike racing/training shoes.

Vaporfly and alphafly are in stock everywhere now.

Benefit of a place like heartbreak hill is no tax and you support a small business, but I’m not sure how easy/flexible they are with returns.

Ordering from Nike is great if you’re taking a flyer on the shoe and are unsure of sizing, etc.

Found them on Jack Rabbit as well. I have a $30 coupon that I'm thinking of putting towards a pair of Watermelon.

Has anyone ever ran in Nike Joyride Run Flyknits? I just got a pair as everyday shoes, but my current running shoes are starting to give me problems. Stifness and Swelling in my ankles at around a mile. I usually only run about two 2-3 mile runs a week fwiw

I’d get something else for running. Joyrides are best as casual shoes.

I have some Adidas Boston 8s that I like a lot, especially on long runs. But they are very narrow and hard to lace comfortably so will get something different next. Those of you who like the Bostons, what other similar shoes do you also like?

Just switched to Nike Pegasus Turbo 3. They’re OK. I find with my high arches I need to lace them very specifically to be comfortable. Otherwise they seem to work well.

Have been running 25+ a week and these probably need more of a rest. Looking for a second pair of something different.

Walking 5-6 miles a day, recently upgraded from Brooks Ghost 12 to the 13’s, with Powerstep pulse inserts. Have somewhat lower arches. Love the feel of the Ghosts but the forefoot on the outside (pinky through middle toes) wore down really quickly on the 12’s and is wearing out super quick on the 13’s. The rest of the shoe shows little to no signs of wear. Any suggestions for a similar feeling shoe that is more durable for around the same price?

Look into saucony ride 13. probably a litte more cushion than Boston but in general should be similar.

Asics Gel Nimbus Lite 2 is in a similar category as well. Getting good reviews, might be my next daily.

Anyone tried the Brooks Hyperion tempo?

I had a credit at road runner and got a pair for shits n giggles. Worst case scenario I’ll wear them casually. The step in comfort is quite nice.

Actually just read a review of the Boston 9s that says they have more room than the 8s did, so may give the 9s a try. But will check out Saucony Ride and Asics Nimbus too. I usually alternate between Saucony and Aiscs anyway.
