I like it. Does a great job of managing volume and intensity on bench(has to when benching 5 days a week) and still has me squatting twice a week, which I love. Also, plenty of pump/volume work for my inner-bro. Surprisingly, the grip work has become something I look forward too

245lbs@20.9%BF—1/1

1/16 update: haven’t lost a pound. Really felt like nothing was happening until I took some pics and compare to 1/1 pics. Big changes for the good! Clearly leaning out much better than anticipated.

Current macros:
3100 cals
240-260 p
<75c (low days) 200ish (2 high days/week)
Remaining cals is fat.

Lifting 5-6 days/week
7-10hrs of zone 2 cardio/ week

I broke 2 bills yesterday......199. remaining strict carnivore this week.

bought a whole tenderloin from sams yesterday that is about 8.5 lbs. should be enough for most of the work week. Also have a couple large lamb chops im going to defrost and cook this week for sure. ill suplement the rest of the calories with eggs and a little whey post workout.

starting tonight though, goign to start taking pre and intra workout more seriously. no stims or anything just some pre-mixed EAA and pump products.

when i need to reset ill addin creatine, Beta A, and other supps to make sure i blow past previous numbers.

Weigh in was exact same as last Monday (210). Not exactly happy but with COVID running though my house and limiting my workout options, I’m glad I didn’t gain weight.

Getting back on the weights tomorrow

I was down to 192.5 this morning. This weekend I will try to get another Inbody scan to see what type of weight I'm losing.

I'm weighing at exactly where I need to be for my BJJ comp this coming weekend. Weight class is 168 lbs and under, although they give up to 168.9 lbs. I'm at 164.4 lbs and the Gi adds 4 lbs. Going to be a boring week of salads with balsamic vinegar and some protein. I'll have a little fruit for carbs. Hopefully I can shed another 1 lb. before Saturday.

Up at 4 and did an hour in the gym (PPSA Pool Season 1). No time for a walk this morning so I hope I can get one in this afternoon or tonight once the kids are asleep

I was absolutely terrible this weekend. It was my wife's bday. ONE bad decision lead to another which lead to king cake and margaritas.

I snapped back into shape yesterday. I had a good long fasted run in the morning and walked another 4 miles with me dad in the afternoon. Diet is back under control as of yesterday. I'm debloating again.

That's usually a hiccup weekend in my plans, but its all good now. No mistakes until Mardi Gras.

I have this same problem. No middle ground. Either I'm on my game and doing well, or I'm sitting on the sofa, surrounded by cookie crumbs and chips.

some people love it , some dont. personally i love it and it helps me a ton to stay compliant.

yesterday i had to go to a business lunch, just had tuna steak with shrimp and artichokes on top with lemon butter sauce and some creamed spiniach as the side. then back to full carnivore last night.

gonna get another inbody scan next friday to see where i am.

That sound delicious!!

I jumped on the scale this morning. I undid all of my badness from the weekend. My pushups are getting difficult, but I gutted through and feel great today. I'm doing sets that are higher volume than my previous max! I'm feeling stronger.

Today is a running day. Should be no problem. I do need new shoes. Any suggestions are welcome. I run and walk on a treadmill almost exclusively if that matters.

Welcome to the new guy above

my suggestion is get your foot measured on one of those dr scholes things so you know if high arch or flat foot or whatever and research what shoes for that particular foot type. thats what they did when i was in the military and its the best my feet have ever felt running ( i have high arches)

I haven't seen one of those in ages. I remember they use to be in all the CVS and Walgreens.
I'm tempted to go to Tri running and have them evaluate me and try to sell me $150 shoes.

Day 1 was not so bad. Wasn't sure how my body would react to to just having coffee in the morning but I easily made it. Didn't eat until about 12:45.

Thursday check-in. Week 3.

Not my most consistent week. Few beers throughout the week, and I haven't hit the gym at all this week because I have a cold, have been waiting on COVID test results (which just came back negative yesterday evening). Good to see the weight still going down. Gotta make sure I course correct this week.

awesome progress for not being able to go to the gym.

I have a wedding in NOLA this weekend. A little worried about going crazy at it. gonna try and stay carnivorish though.

kind of just trying to stay pretty close to carnivorish until lent and i will go really hard core for that. 100% lion diet carnivore(except on friday which will be seafood), no caffiene or any drink other than water and then cold showers every morning and no social media including no TD, no tv.

lent is going to be my time to essentially get away from all forms of media other than a couple podcast and focus on family and myself. essentially cut out all distractions period.

most years i do that, but last 2 i gave up everythign but td and in the end.....well i need to give it all up.

so far this week i have been pretty damn consistent. I will get an inbody next friday.
