Not as lucky this week as last. Last week's inconsistency hitting this weigh-in instead? Maybe. We'll see next week!

5-year anniversary tomorrow, not sure what we're doing for a meal yet but probably a nice steak.

I've had ribeye for dinner every night this week. It's been awesome. I grill one steak and one salmon steak. My wife and I split both with a green veg. I should've bought more ribeye while it was on sale.

I can tell things are trending in the right direction based on my clothes. I can't wait to get on the scale next Friday.

I'm going to be a home body this weekend to keep me from cheating.

congrats, mate

Sort of related, I grilled a couple ribeyes on Friday and damn near almost burnt the house down. Guess I hadn't cleaned the grill in a while, the ribeyes had a ton of fat, and/or I left the heat on too high. Didn't panic though - got the extinguisher and went to work. I told the wife I wanted to cook them on the stove/oven!

ETA: i was able to pull the steaks before it got too bad, and they came out ok actually .

Not great, not terrible, brother. One day at a time I suppose

Feb 6 I fly out of town for a week for work. Will be in a hotel all week on a per diem, then the bachelor trip will be that weekend

Already imagining how terrible that stretch can get lol

Just make better choices to start. They don't have to be perfect choices, just better.

Make a choice. Make a plan. Stick to it.

Track your calories in an app. Set a goal weight and a specific date. Prep your meals for the week on Sunday. Go for fasted walks as much as you can.

The first week will be a little tough mentally. After about 10 days you will realize you are in full control of your own destiny.

This is the way

I had hit a stall and was getting frustrated but the scale finally started moving again. Fasted walking or rowing everyday and I generally do not eat until after work. I 'm typically not hungry during the day. In fact, if I eat breakfast I am starving two hours later. Down 15 lbs since mid December and finally starting to feel human again.

Great work man. I'm doing intermittent fasting and always try to get my 1 hour walk in prior to first meal. Finish my eating by 7pm or so.

Good morning folks,

I've had a great week and have my meals planned out for the day. Ive got my Friday run and pushups ahead of me today and a strength test this weekend to advance to week 3 of the program finally.

This weekend will be my break through. I am staying close to home except for 1 round of golf where I intend to walk and not drink at all at the course. Beer is the temptation there. When I walk, I cant be drinking beers.

I've got all the weekend meals planned. I'm looking forward to the scale next Friday.

Missed the start of this thread during a TD hiatus. Started the year at 215# (5’11”), goal is to get down to 195# while also hitting some strength goals: Press 185#, Squat 405#, Bench 315#, Deadlift 495#. Plan was 4 days lifting 5/3/1 5x5 FSL with 2-3 swims and a run thrown in there.

Weighed in this week at 207# and starting to see some signs of a vein or two in the biceps. Have stayed the course pretty well on training plan and hitting 2400 cals and 200g protein 5-6 days per week.

Good luck to all in the thread.

I’ll be joining y’all with this in April

Been crazy busy the last six months in a training pipeline which I have been gone a lot. Not eating great most the time and try and squeeze workouts out when ever I can.

Sitting around 183-185

But once I get some stability in my life trying to lean out down to 170.

Been slacking posting on this board

Had a great week of eating clean and staying under cals. Got 5 1 hour walks in. Digestion has been a bit slow this week, but down a lb to 178.6 from my starting weight of 194 on Dec 26.

The low hanging fruit has been picked now if I can drop a lb or so a week for another month I should be at or near goal weight of 172.

Can start lifting again after Feb 22.
