Useless? If not what brand is the safest without the carbs, sugar, and fillers?

Not at all. I can get a shot of 24g of protein for 120 calories. Not much is better than that besides fat free chicken breast.

I’ve been using Optimum Nutrition, but it does have sucralose in it. I’ll probably switch after this last bag. It was on sale for $44 at Costco, and I could pass up that deal.

What with you switch to? I stay away from chicken since it is bathed in chlorine

Look into old school labs rich chocolate if you don't want sucralose. Good quality and taste imo

Hell no. Most people use it to hit protein goals.
If you want no sugar or carbs you can expect it to taste like arse.

It’s a supplement to assist with getting in protein/aminos. First priority should be real whole food. I use Transparent Labs or Earth Fed Muscle whey isolate. Both are free of sucralose, ace k, etc all the fake shite.

Whey powder gives me bad reflux. I find the plant based powder more tolerable.

It's an efficient way to get a lot of protein without a ton of calories.
I usually buy Promix or Earth Fed Muscle. Very clean without a lot of other ingredients.

I've been using PEScience Vegan Protein lately. Easier on my stomach, and clean ingredients. I'm going to start adding in half a scoop of Whey to start re-introducing it, and for flavor purposes. I'll either stay with PEScience for that or I've heard Transparent Labs mentioned several times on this board. May give them a shot.

bro unless your FFMI is greater than 24 and bodyfat below 10%....you are focusing on all the wrong things.
as far as what protein....any whey isolate, egg or casein from true nutrition. i really like the team skip blend

Was there some period of time that it too to get used to it? My wife takes it and says it helps her skin and hair. I tried it for a week and it turned my insides into a human sized caulk gun. I couldn’t deal with it.

Protein powder and creatine are the only 2 supplements that have been proven to work time and time again in studies. Tho, the best source of protein is meat. Meat has vitamins and minerals plus good fat.
a gram of protein is worth 4 calories. When buying powder, look for the total calories to be close to the Protein content multiplied by 4. So 25g of protein in a 120 calorie serving is very lean. 10g of protein in a 200 calorie serving is trash. Also try to stay away from those that say "proprietary blends" in the ingredients list.
For creatine, only buy supps where creatine is the only ingredient. It can say "monohydrate" or something after, but creatine doesn't need a bunch of shite with it. 5g per day.
I like Gorilla mind supps. His protein powder tastes good and his non-stimulant preworkouts are excellent. They also have creatine in the preworkouts.
I also like Seeq protein. its clear. but its not heavy at all. tastes like a preworkout.

Not useless.
I prefer Transparent Labs protein powder. Simple ingredients and taste great. Chocolate is my preference.

One of the reasons I like the Old School labs is it's a blend of egg white and milk whey/casein and beef isolate. Good blend of proteins and no sucralose (at least not in the chocolate one)

Are yall worried at all about the fact that they aren't FDA regulated and studies have shown that some brands have random stuff in them?
Serious question, not being sarcastic for once.

I have never had any issues with it

Tried to order a 4lb chocolate this morning but it was out of stock so got the chocolate peanut butter instead.
