I was thinking about squatober today during my lifts and I am looking forward to it. Not sure how it's going to work with running 3 to 4 miles every other day but going to give it a go.

I was running a couple miles here and there during last year's Squatober and I didn't notice any big change. I ran a 5k middle of the month and I was maybe a tad extra sore to start the week.

I'm currently on week 2 of Arm Farm. It's great also, but I commonly underestimate the supersets. It will keep your ego in check.

Started week 4 today and agreed. I ended up grabbing the little baby 10s for the last set of the DB laterls/ curls to OHP/ close grip bench SS. I was struggling

Day two of Pool Season down. Not as intense as arm farm, but a good mix.

Day 2 of week 4 arm farm. This plan is far and away my favorite plan. I love these super sets

I felt like I hit the big muscle groups today with squats, upper back, chest/tris, biceps, and lats.

Week 1 Day 4 of pool season cardio just says 200 reps of DB shrugs. Do you just pick a weight and take breaks as needed to get to 200?

Hey fellas. Looking for some guidance here. I’ve been out of the gym for close to 20 years now and looking to get back into it. I’ve recently dropped 75# and need to let go of another 50 to get where I want to be. I joined club 4 and have just been doing the machine workouts but not sure how beneficial those are. Any workout plans out there y’all Recommend for a beginner? Main goal is to continue weight loss/fat burning and prevent too much muscle loss.

how weak are you? i.e. can you do bodyweight squats, lunges, pushups etc?

if so i highly suggest you start with 531 Beginner prep school, Greyskull aesthetics template(search the board), or kinobody. you need to start slow, learn free weight lifts and progress over time.

i do not suggest PPSA to start.

make a seperate thread and give more information and let us know stats, strength levels etc and we can help

Finished Arm Farm today for the second time. I may run it back a 3rd time before squatober starts. Hands down my favorite program.

What you think 777?

You don't think it's a little light on the legs leading into Squatober? I'm really digging Silverback again. First time I squatted 225 for reps today. It was only 2 reps but felt really smooth.

You could do the Prequel. I think its only 21 days long and meant to be done prior to Squatober. I would have to check my folder.

Weeks 1 and 3 are 3 days a week.
Weeks 2 and 4 are 4 days a week.

Maybe so, but hell last year at this time I was doing my measly one body part workout a week leading up to squatober. My legs are much better prepared than last year.

Two days ago was the sqaut day for AF and I squatted 300 5x to finish it off.

arm farm would be fine or one of the prequel ones, would stay away from anything too crazy like strongville, periodic table etc

Anybody else on W3D1 Silverback? 10 sets of bench today. Should be a good one

That was a badass bench workout: 3 sets of 2 @ 265 after working up to it on the 7 prior sets had me going.

I’m doing something simple prior to squatober.

MF - squat and bench and some accessories
W - deads and shoulder presses and some accessories

Knocked out day 9 of oak tree yesterday after taking a week off due to vacation. Said I was going to workout at the resort but that shite didn’t happen. Body felt nice and rested, though.

Was dreading the 5 set bench-RFESS superset which kicked my arse the first time but I went down 10 lbs on RFESS from 70s to 60s and it felt much better. Kept my balance better and knees felt good
