I have a little pain in my lower abdomen and what feels like a small bump. If I have a fricking hernia in the middle of this marathon training, I will murder.

ETA: it’s right where my running belt buckle sits so maybe my running belt caused it.

Good training up in here. This weekend's weather looks fantastic, relatively speaking.

Did some Sally assisted 800's at the track yesterday. Well, assisted half the time, windy air conditioning the other half. It seems my Garmin has caught the bogus elevation bug as I gained 800 feet on a flat arse track. Sheesh.

Ran 2x2 mile followed by 2x1 mile at slightly faster than what I estimate my current 10k pace is. Recoveries were 4, 3.5, and 3 minutes. I’m going to do a time trial in the beginning of October to see if these workouts are actually doing me any good. My Garmin Vo2 max has not moved since I got it at the beginning of the year, so that is not encouraging.

Eh I wouldn’t put a ton of stock into that Garmin VO2. What’s yours say though?

I echo what the others said. Do you review your heart rate data after runs? I ask because my Garmin records obvious errors about 1\3 of the time. The most common error resulting in a graph that resembles stairs. I've even had it record a personal best Vo2 result from one of these runs.

Speaking of Garmin.. Looking at the new Forerunner 745. Anybody have one of the watches with training load, etc? Get any use out of it? I just don't know about sleeping with a watch on that I wear daily to work, in public, etc.

Mine apparently does it but I'm still trying to figure out half the things on it. Coolest thing I've done is put a Rolex Daytona face on it.

I'm not sure how accurate all that heart rate and VO2 stuff is.

My Garmin says my VO2 max is 56 so take that for what it’s worth.
