I don't know about you but when this day comes, I walk in the gym an unhappy camper lol. I don't know how this came to be, but for Men( I think it's more butt for women) it's just something we neglect. We go in there pumping up our chest and curling dumbbells all the while walking around the gym lol with chicken legs.

Downvote.
I only do legs. Who cares about upper body? All your power comes from legs.

Legs are my favorite.
Favorite lifts:
1a- Deadlift
1b- Back Squat
Are you doing machine or free weight? Compound or iso?

Every day is leg day where I go. Well, maybe one day might not be leg day, but it's rare.

Butt is extremely important in strength and power.
I'm not sure I like legs, but they're infinitely more rewarding than upper body for me. PR's on squats and deads are truly earned.

I do some sort of squat damn near five to six days a week. I do not enjoy heavy squats alone.

I like leg day, although I don’t go super heavy. Back day is my struggle. I suck at pull-ups and activating back muscles in general.

If you hate leg days bc of how sore you get, you simply aren't hitting your legs often enough. Once a week simply isn't enough.. you won't be nearly as sore hitting them 2x or 3x a week and cut back the volume of each leg workout. You can get more volume in per week this way, but less fatigue per session.

Will preface this by saying I come from track background, but I've always hated the idea of leg day once a week. In my real athlete days, we would do legs/lower body work every time we lifted. And guess what, we never needed 2 or 3 recovery days after lifting heavy because we could spread out the volume and intensity.
Even today, if I can only workout 2 days a week (which happens quite often), one day will be squats and lower body accessory, and the other day will be deadlift, squat, and full body accessory.

I used to think I hated legs. Til I couldn't work them out.
Now I miss it like crazy, and I am the definition of "always skip leg day". It's flat embarrassing walking around the gym with sticks for legs.
My upper body is as strong as I've ever been, but I'm at least 8-10 lbs underweight because I have no legs. Once the doc clears me for weighted exercise I will be crushing legs 3x a week at least. Gonna be the sweetest burn ever.

My current status: screaming in agony as I sit or stand . . . walking like a newborn giraffe.

Well that depends. If you are doing squats and maybe some DLs to get your leg work in, then there is nothing to hate. I do squats 2-3 times a week and DL 1-2 times a week.
Nothing more rewarding than hitting a PR on those.
If you are in there doing a bunch of work trying to glam up those legs, frick that. I need strength down there, not sexy muscles.
