Ever since seeing his videos, I've been obsessed with adding some of his stuff to my routine. The nordic curls and lunges with the knee over the toes are killer.
ETA: sissy squats are rough also

the YT algorithm keeps showing these videos on my YT, but I haven't clicked on one yet
is this more for flexibility, strength, or both?

Both really. It’s to strengthen the knee cap and to “bullet proof” other areas such as ankles, hips, and hamstrings.

Nordic curls was an eye opener on how weak my hamstrings were.

He had a horrible injury of some sort that limited him quite a lot if I'm not mistaken. That is why he does what he does.

Is that lie down with legs at his side thing really world class range? Because I'm a chunky 32 year old and I can do that pretty easily.

I haven’t but I’ve heard good things.
I’ve been big on improving my range of motion / mobility so this is appealing to me.
I currently do ROMWOD which has been helpful.

I paid for the program for about a month. He has a nice progression starting simple and going to challenging resistance-based mobility exercises.
Only thing I don’t like is it seems to require you to focus solely on his program and not continue anything else like 5/3/1 or long distance running. I think this is because he has built the program for people with knee pain. I don’t have knee pain, but I’d like to have his mobility.
I wrote down all of the exercises on a Google Doc and cancelled. I’m tailoring it to what I think I need. All of the videos in the program are found on YouTube BTW.

Why does he want to dunk a basketball?

I started this program today after going down the rabbit hole when I read this thread.
I feel like this is really what I need as I age I need to be more mobile and not just strong.

Who doesn’t? If I was convinced it would work, I’d start as soon as I got home and I would be willing to pay a substantial amount.

It’s ok to do knees over toes?
For years we were told not to, what’s changed??

Day 1 that they sent me. It’s basically some positions to get into to see where you’re starting.
I’m not starting in a good place. If it works for me it will work for anyone

I would like to incorporate some of his stuff into my current workout, but I don’t even know where to start. I don’t have any pain or mobility issues so not worth is to me to pay for his program, just with there was something I could do in addition to grey scull

So today was effectively day 1. Some pretty good stuff I felt:
Couple different types of calf raises
Some reverse type calf raises where you lean against the wall and go toes up to shin
L sits
Hamstrings stretches
