Is there a better protein shake combo than chocolate, banana, and peanut butter?
Probably not. What say the H&F board?

It’s pretty fricking yummy. Cookies and cream is a tough competitor though.

I’ve been on a strawberry banana protein shake kick recently but I’m about to make the switch back to the real MVP

All those ingredients but add dry oats and use frozen strawberries instead of ice.

re: Is there a better protein shake combo than chocolate, banana, and peanut butter?
I went through a smoothie phase and my favorite was:

1/4 c Milk
3/4 c Water
splash vanilla
tbsp honey
scoop vanilla protein powder
tbsp peanut butter
25g spinach
75g pineapple
50g blueberry

Most of my smoothies are pretty basic but this one, IMO, is the best I've ever made.

I don’t have an exact one but I used to get them at the smoothie bar at my gym and it was:

Chocolate protein
Cocoa powder
Bananas
Peanut butter
Oats

Simple but so good and makes your recovery feel great

Eating my overnight oats right now w/ chocolate protein powder, banana, peanut butter, flax seed and milk. I feel like I need to mix it up so i don’t get sick of it but it’s just so damn good.

Because of the 1 banana? Get outta here with that.

To answer OP, nope - that is the GOAT shake.

That's a classic, but is also calorically dense. I prefer to avoid drinking as many of my calories as I can. That is just my preference though.

A protein shake combo of chocolate protein powder, PB powder, and some frozen strawberries instead of a banana would be pretty good and relatively low cal.

That or Banana and strawberry/raspberry/blueberry. The former is thicker and heavy. The latter is light and refreshing.

I normally go with:

Almond milk (I don't really measure)
Protein powder
frozen banana broken into chunks
frozen strawberries
Peanut butter
fiber supplement
ZMA supplement
creatine
Superfood supplement
and a little splenda to sweeten it up.

My go to lately has been

Almond Milk
Vanilla Protein Powder
Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
Almonds
Oatmeal
Powdered Peanut Butter
Dates
Banana
Stevia
Ice

Blend all together. It's pretty good. More of a smoothie but its my go to.

My go to:

Almond milk (non-sweetened)
Frozen berry mix of strawberries, black berries, raspberries, and blue berries.
Spinach
1-2 scoops of whey (lemon flavored or strawberry flavored)
