I can't help but brag because I'm proud of myself

When this pandemic began back in March, I weighed in the mid-170s. I have been fluctuating between that weight and the low-180s for the better part of six years now. I found myself drinking heavily and eating rotten food for the first month or so and ballooned up to about 183 lbs. One day in April when I was walking down the stairs I could feel my fat jiggling under my clothes and came to the conclusion that this was not the kind of lifestyle I was going to lead however long the shutdown lasted. So I started walking six times a week, roughly five miles a day, for the next several months.
Flash forward to the end of September and I am down into the mid-150s. I can run four miles easily and can push it to six miles when I'm feeling edgy. My resting heart rate runs in the low-40s/high-30s and my blood pressure is almost perfect. And I'm hovering at about 15.7% body fat.
The best part about it all? I no longer feel my fat jiggle when I'm walking down the stairs.

Are you sure that’s accurate? Bradycardia isn’t something to mess around with.

That’s the key to the kingdom right there. Good work.

These are not OT worthy numbers.

Like you, I have also gotten healthier during the pandemic. The one positive of all this, it gave me a chance to focus on my health and my relationship with my now wife. This week sort of fell off diet wise because it’s our first week married, but we’re back on track. Keep up the good work, man.

I’ve been doing the same thing since May! Too funny. Congratulations on the hard work and success.

I have to toss you a Roll Tide for your progress! That was hard to do considering I Am an LSU fan married into a Bama family!

LOL, I went from 175 to around 230 while in the Navy and that was just from drinking and whoring. I was so out of shape by the time I got out (only 4 yrs) that I struggled my last pt exam.

It’s accurate. I’ve had an EKG read my resting heart rate at 38 BPM before. The PA was freaking out and had me go to a cardiologist. Low resting heart rates run on my father’s side of the family. It’s amplified by the fact that I’m in shape.

Awesome accomplishment. Bit of a lifestyle change. Good for you and your family.
