Number one that was not much of an incline and two the amount of steroids that dude has done is out of this world.

Even so the guy is incredibly genetically gifted. And steroids alone don’t get you that strong.

I am as anti-Steroids/PED as they come, but Ronnie was also naturally gifted and a very hard worker. He has admitted to steroid use, but he also noted that it was not until later in his career that he introduced steroids to his regime. He stated that steroids did not boost his strength as much as it boosted his overall condition and look on stage. He was already a strong guy, played college football, lifted more like a powerlifter, and trained for years naturally.

And yes, he TOYS with those 200lb dumbells, its insane how easy he rocks back into that incline bench and pumps them out.

That’s a great angle for working chest though- not sure why the OP is referring to an incline press regarding huge shoulders.

Compared to modern day lifters, I don’t think he actually used nearly as much as you might think. Also, his current injuries are not due to his steroids; they’re caused by the way he trained and how he handled injuries.

Ronnie talks about this in an interview somewhere, I think it was actually a Joe Rogan Podcast you can find on YouTube. I don't believe he was one who did massive amounts of everything. I think his generation and earlier did less than what is being done today.

Pretty much. The older breed used test. The new guys use all kinds of junk. That’s some have died at young ages. They’re destroying their organs. Coleman’s physical issues stem from not letting injuries heal. He would just pump himself with painkillers and keep pushing big weight. Pretty much his whole spine is fused.
