What's your go-to ear gear? How do you carry your phone or other device?

TIA

I don't listen to music when I run because I have to keep my head on a swivel. There are some shitty drivers where I live, about a third of whom always seem to be texting and driving.

I have an arm band for my phone and use $20 Amazon blue tooth ear buds. Works pretty well.

Listening to Evan Stone's podcast, I assume.

$25 soundpeats qy7 from amazon with Apple Watch when I listen to music. I don’t carry my phone unless I’m running on the trails. I typically only listen to music on longer, slower runs and go without headphones for up tempo workouts.

I think it was 2008 the last time I ran with music. Once I went without, there was no looking back.

AfterShokz Air Open-Ear Headphones and Apple Watch.

I like the open air design because I can hear what’s going on around me while I run.

I used Phaiser 530’s for 2 years before I got these new ones and they worked great. Exceptional battery life.

I still bring my phone and listen to podcasts, but I wear AfterShokz Trekz Titanium. I found an open box return at REI for $50 and decided to give it a whirl. I really like having the ability to listen to a podcast while also hearing a car approach or someone verbally trying to get my attention. Battery life is pretty good and they are durable.

$20 Letscom headphones from Amazon. Can’t beat the value. I’m probably in the minority here, but I just carry my phone in my right hand. Like it better than the armband for some reason or another.

You carry your ear buds in your hand? That’s weird.

Yea, if you are listening to music you are not getting your best possible workout.

Prepare for the downvotes from people who can't possibly run without headphones. I don't even know how our ancestors managed to do it.

People are probably a little annoyed that going without is a forgone conclusion considering the title explicitly asks what your setup is, not whether or not you have one. But I’m with ya, brother; none for me.
