My wife and kids are asking me what I want for Father's Day. I have no idea.

I've thought about a Tickr for when I work out. Anyone have experience? Is it worthwhile?

Please, no OT answers.

me and you both

I never know what to tell my wife to buy me because I generally just go buy what I want

I'm also extremely picky about the things I buy

most of the time she just goes to LE Chalk and buys me a shirt or something, which is fine, but damn its expensive

Like a Wahoo Tickr? I like mine. I use it for Zwift and sometimes on runs when I want a more accurate reading than my Garmin 245

Do you want to work out more or already do and thoroughly enjoy it?

If so there are endless Father’s Day gift ideas surrounding this.

Slantboard, adjustable dumbbells, sled, lifting or running shoes... What kind of exercise do you do?

I already do. I don’t do anything except log my weights and reps. Thoroughly enjoy might be a stretch

Get some kickass water bottle that you wouldn't normally be willing to spend the money on.

New running shoes? On Clouds, etc.
Gym shirts/shorts
Weightlifting belt
Wrist straps
Water bottles (you can personalize them to make it a sweet Father’s Day gift)
Shaker bottles to up your protein game
Supplements
New ear buds (my favorite costs $40-$50)

Owala water bottles are amazing. Get the one with the double sip. You can use straw or pour.

They were on Amazon but I don’t see them any more. Great sound and bass, cheap, battery lasts forever.

Either I’m going deaf or sound buds aren’t very loud now. I currently have beats. And had Sony ones before that. With the volume all the way up I can hear people having conversations next to me in the gym or the gyms music playing. I’ve gone into all of the settings in my phone to make the adjustments to make them louder.

If you’re interested in tri training, or even just expanding how much you run outdoors, a set of shokz bone conducting ear buds is a must.

I just got a pair of these (50% off with Blue365 if you have that with your BCBS insurance), and they are great.
