River ridge spirits is near Kenner they have good store picks typically. Dorignac’s also - both run FB pages with info. Drago’s is hard to beat - easy for a large group, prices are decent and they have all the classics + amazing oysters....

There were two rounds of storms - one early one late - exactly as predicted and in the time frames predicted. Both pretty gnarly as far as wind and rain go but thankfully no tornados although there were a couple of warnings....

This is largely a pretty dated view of homeschooling. There are a ton of weird kids coming out of traditional schools these days, but would agree that historically homeschooled kids are missing some social norms.
