Right. The last few days I could just go sit on my patio and drink coffee in the morning and get the same results.

Well considering I sit in 170 degree heat for 20 minutes I don’t think the summer heat even comes close.

What does a sauna do for the human body? I have no idea actually.

Sweating things out regularly is good. I think some people don't sweat much doing their normal routines. I am not one of those people.

One of the benefits is supposedly to help flush out the stuff that bad stress builds up in your body by binding it to waste that comes out later.

Saunas provide actionable health benefits such as improved cardiovascular function, enhanced muscle recovery, and stress reduction. By exposing your body to deliberate heat stress, you can trigger a "fight or flight" response that shifts the nervous system, lowers blood pressure, and boosts endorphins.

I do sauna 5x a week and feel amazing. it can get up to 210 at Lifetime Fitness.

My heat tolerance has built up too. I walked my dog in 95 the other day for 20 minutes and didn't break a sweat. I cant go without it.

From Dr. Rhonda Patrick’s site. She did a pretty good meta analysis on the health benefits to sauna here:

Give me 30 minutes of an easy zone 2 cardio session over 10 minutes in a dry sauna every day of the week.

Why?

If answering, please don't use the generic "toxins", unless you specify which one you are talking about. Bad medicine is always saying "toxins" BS.

BPA's

PCB's

Heavy Metals

quote:

The results demonstrated that the sweating method influenced the excretion of heavy metals in sweat and, as hypothesized, the concentrations of Ni, Pb, Cu, and As were significantly higher during dynamic running than during sitting in the sauna. After strenuous exercise, sweat has generally a higher capacity than urine to remove heavy metals from the body.

If the health benefits from zone 2 cardio could be sold in a pill, people would pay more than the do for GLP-1's and peptides.

Sauna alongside redlight therapy at the proper wavelengths is the bomb.
