24 KB swings @ 53lbs

3 rounds:
10 pull ups
24 slam balls @ 30lbs

Did heavy deadlifts yesterday so I felt this one!

Having knee issues so I can't do the burpees. Going see PT Tuesday. I've been putting it off since after Christmas and just dealing with it.

Finished the first part in 6:16 but no BMUs. Tried a few but it just isn’t happening. Shoulder mobility sucks. Did all the snatches as singles.

Took my time on 19.4. Did RX and I don't have muscle ups so no need to hurry. I don't care about timebreak time. Just did 2s and 3s on the snatches and moved through burpees. Took about 20 second breaks after each round to reset my breathing and get reach for the snatches. Only got no repped on my jumps twice so that's a win.

No MUs in 19.4 with a 4:48 tie break.

I guess I’ll practice MUs along with DUs this year.

I went in today to do 19.4

Can’t do it at home bc muscle ups on the power rack are pretty tight to do and I’d hit my head on the garage ceiling.

But instead of 19.4, a guy I work out with wanted to do a partner odd object workout

With a 75lb sand bag
Run a mile switching when you had too
75 cals on the assault bike
75 24 inche box step ups with the sand bag

My legs were absolutely smoked during the step ups. It was one of those workouts when I felt out of shape. One that makes anyone feel out of shape.

After taking about 15 mins to recover

EMOM 18 rounds
Min 1 5 hang cleans at 135
Min 2 5 burpees
Min 3 5 dead hang pull ups

That 1st workout sounds absolutely fricking brutal. Why would anyone want to do that???

Here’s mine for the day:

12 min
Work up to heavy single front squat (got 295)

12 min AMRAP
5 strict pull ups
10 deadlift
10 front squat (both at 95 lbs)

Got thru 7 rds + 15 reps

It was one the workouts they published for a competition down in Texas CrossFit Mayham is hosting.

He’s doing the comp so wanted to try it out

Took us just under 21 mins. He fricking carried my arse on the step ups. He was knocking out sets of 15 when I was 7-10

A lifting coach once told me that x95 should never be a final max lift. ALWAYS add 5lbs and hit the hundo mark.

A.) 3 SETS:

M1 - 5 OHS (95/65) (30X1)
M2- 8-10 ARCHER PULLS
M3- 30” FARMERS HOLD

B.) 3 ROUNDS:

15 CHEST TO BAR PULL UPS
RUN 1 LAP

I did just a bar on OHS. Orange kettlebells in farmers hold.. not sure of their weight, 2nd to heaviest.
Ring rows instead of c2b. 9:47. Managed to run all 3 laps without stopping, which was my goal. Figured I'd have no torubke finishing under 10min if I did that.

Did it with the wife in 18:56. She hates rowing and I hate burpees so it worked out.

Front squats worked up to about a 75% triple at 205

10 rounds
30 double unders
10 dumbbell hang power cleans with 50lbs

My new Fronning speed rope got here today put it to good use

Any guesses for 19.5? Missing thrusters, ring MUs, and a 1rm. I hate thrusters but I would imagine they're unavoidable. Just a matter of barbell/dumbbell. Really hoping they don't go back to back with MUs, and hope its a doable workout if theres a 1rm at the end.
