Their shoes are bulletproof. Expensive but they last quite a while.

I pan on getting the low tops as just my next trainer. They have a wider footprint than others, but I cannot vouch for bulletproof. I bought some high-tops for my day to day shoes at work. Desk job, 6 months in, uppers are separating from the soles.

Nano 3 is the GOAT. I've got a pair from a long long long time ago and they still look brand new. No Bulls don't hold up in my opinion unless they've changed recently.

I’ve had probably 6 pairs of no bull and only one pair started to fall apart. This is after workouts generally 5-6 days a week for a year or more. Idk if a shoe that will hold up to that amount of abuse. Maybe they don’t hold up well for different body types. Never liked the metcons or nano as they felt too bulky to me. Personal preference I guess.

I'll preface this by saying I've been doing CrossFit since '14. Have just about every numerical version of Nano, MetCon 3 (I think #), and MetCon 2 Free (I think #).

I really like the MetCon Free for workouts with longer running or running intervals.

My favorites of all I have are the Reebok Speed TR. Lightweight, good for all workouts, and have two pairs.

Also partial to my Nano 2 and Nano 3 or 4 (forgot which one but 2 - 4 likely no longer available)

Maybe with all the unconventional lifts you need a more unconventional shoe. I present the wood nano.

What's unconventional about Olympic lifts and power lifting lifts?

You dont do them to failure, or attempt a max effort after running 5 miles, climbing a rope, or flopping on a pull up bar, or doing ring dips, etc......

Well that's not what you said and that's just not true. Lifters miss lifts all the time in weight lifting competitions

Nice edit, and you don't do that in crossfit either.

And what's wrong with having metabolic capacity?

Nothing at all. However you chose to increase your VO2 Max is up to you pal.

Great, Im glad that you have found something that works for you. I dont believe in a ones size fits all. If what you are doing works, stick with it. Based off my previous experiences with Crossfitters, this was something they absolutely did, had poor from and remained hurt constantly. Yes, it is possible this has changed since I last had any dealings with Crossfit.

Gotta get those insults in when someone challenges you. I get it, it's a big world and you feel small in it.

You truly are insufferable. I don't wish to take on the fool's errand to argue with a fool.

To get this back on track, I have a pair of Nanos in my cubby at the gym for lifting, step ups, burpees etc, and a pair of Hokas for running. I have been known to just kick of the Hokas and lift in just socks if we are doing any lifting/running combo workout.
