I have attempted intermittent fasting (16:8) in the past but saw no real change. I am thinking about experimenting with OMAD. Any suggestions or advice?

I ate a light breakfast, no lunch and a normal dinner for a while and definitely lost some weight

Scruffy has never done OMAD.

Tends to do no breakfast, just coffee (black), smallish lunch, and dinner.

The amount of times you eat during the say doesn’t matter if you are still consuming the same amount of calories. People are dumb and need every mental trick in the book to be disciplined

Tried it. It caused me to have light-headedness from creating an imbalance in my system. My wife was damn near calling 911, it caused me to be near fainting and going to my knees from the dizzyheadedness

The best advice I can give is to create change you can live with for the rest of your life. Slow and steady wins the race.

I’m not purely one meal a day. I’m no breakfast (coffee), main meal at lunch, something very light mid-evening.

Honestly, try cutting carbs, like breads.

You don’t have to go full keto, but I felt much better when I started cutting breads.

And drink only water.

If your goal is weight loss, the calories and carbs are all that matter. Small light meals throughout the day are probably a lot healthier.

Starvation or other gimmicks will just cause you to break and stuff your face with some shite you wouldn't have eaten in the first place. Like the food version of a slumpbuster.

I have done this with some success. But I found that I really lost energy and desire to exercise.

Try 18:6. And don't pile in the calories during that time.

Have to give yourself time to get used to it.

Breads are filling but really don’t offer much.

I’m trying full keto and I definitely got much more tired at the start, but the wife, who has done full keto for a while, said that is normal at first.
