I’ve been doing it the past week and went from 184 last Sunday to 175 this morning. This is after a year on and off of keto from where I went from 240 to 180. I eat around 3 so I don’t get hungry before bed. I also drink at night tho so not sure that’s really considered OMAD but I’m only eating one meal a day. Just have liquid calories at night.

no fricking way I’m giving up bread for example.

I will never give up bread. I love it too much, however, I don’t eat it as much as I used to

And I don’t drink soft drinks at all.

You replied to my post rolling your eyes like my 14 year daughter would.

Are you a 14 year old girl?

I have lost weight on it, and I have gained weight on it for sure. When I lost weight on it I was keto, and when I gained weight on it I was eating lots of carbs, desserts. I’ve never gained weight on keto, but definitely stalled with nuts and avocados. I like being hungry, it feels like energy for me, if I eat more than a few hundred carbs calories I get sleepy.

At times I liked it because anytime I didn’t eat was an opportunity for me not to over eat, but then I think I traded one disordered eating for another, and just ended up over eating one meal. Staying keto really helps me avoid overeating.

I eat one meal a day during the week and do a 16:8 kind of thing on the weekends. The flexibility is great and I don’t have to meal prep anything so it’s convenient as well. During the week I eat very low carb, as it helps with cravings. You almost have to eat low carb to avoid hunger however, Saturday I don’t restrict any macros. This way I don’t feel like I’m giving up anything permanently, and I have Sunday to set myself up for the more restrictive eating window of the week.

I’ve lost about 40 pounds and I’m still dropping weight. I’m 6’ and my goal weight is 165. I’m about 15 lbs from that now.

It's what I do. I love it... you also can get away with eating a bit more since you only have one insulin spike per day

I'm not saying you can go all out but I generally go low carb 3-4 days a week and try to fit in a 36 hour fast as well

That's what happens when you're addicted to sugar

How much are you guys eating (calories) on OMAD? I’m at like 2700-3000/day. No way I feel I could do OMAD

This is not normal. You should see a doctor.

I do about 2,000 calories a day during the week and then 3,000 on the weekends.

True. I was also wondering how long he'd been doing omad bc it could be an electrolyte issue.

I’ve been doing low carb and keto going back and forth for 6 months now, I’ve lost 40 pounds. I did one meal a day for 3 weeks. It was fine on days I didn’t workout, i ended up just not eating enough and feeling like crap. It’s really hard to sit down and eat 2000 calories if you are eating pretty clean.

Now I do either a big lunch and a light dinner or a light lunch and a big dinner.

I’ve been doing the One Minus One Meal a Day for weeks now and have seen fantastic results. I can literally eat whatever I want as long it’s within my purging window

I did. I was fasting with only one three hour eating window. Wasn't hungry and wasn't eating but maybe 500 calories a day. I went to my doc. He did blood work, and I had an imbalance in my system. Had me start drinking a low cal sport drink and haven't had a problem since.
