I probably avg anywhere from 200-350 mg of caffeine a day.

Energy drinks (Celcius are my favorite), Coffee, Pre-workout. You name it.

How bad am I wrecking my heart? Lol

Anyone else bad about caffeine intake?

I used to get debilitating migraines if I missed coffee. Have had very very little caffeine in the last two months and zero headaches. Took a few weeks but I don’t need it anymore.

Your body can handle between 3mg to 7mg of caffeine to kg of body weight a day according to some studies done.

I think most people are.

I tried to get off one time. I am incredibly sensitive to caffeine so it was a nightmare. Starting at the end of the 1st day I had extremely painful headaches. Then the next day on the anxiety started. The panic attacks were terrible.

Probably the worst part was the depression. I had always thought that I understood depression, but it wasn't until then that I understood how debilitating it is. It feels like you're in a completely different world than everyone else. Feels like you are at the bottom of a barrel and nobody can bring you up no matter what happens. It was one of the most dreadful feelings I've ever had to experience. I always tried to cheer my wife up (serious depression) when she was really bad off and now I just don't when she is feeling bad. Because I really understand that when she is having a bad day, nothing matters. I just go sit by her and hug her now.

I finally adjusted a few months down the road and then decided to have a cup one day I was feeling tired. I was so damn productive I couldn't justify not drinking it anymore. Now I have 2-3 cups a day.

I am. I have to make my own half caff at home and only have ~12oz and when I do go get other coffee I get decaf or half caff because I will spiral of I get that caffeine buzz. Last time I got bad off I was probably having ~700mg a day, if not a little more. I search for that buzz and as tolerance goes up you have to drink more and more.

Your 300mg is probably a low estimate. For example, a large coffee at Starbucks is around 300mg.

When I cut it back out after getting up to 600-700mg a day, I had massive headaches and I get very irritable. Like straight up grouchy a-hole. It's not like me at all but EVERYTHING rubs me the wrong way.

If I had caffeine I’d probably smell colors. I haven’t had any since January.

I am finishing week 1 of no coffee.

I take pre workout 7 days a week each morning @ 350mg.

I was leaving the gym, going to work and drinking coffee from 6:30am to 4:30pm. Sometimes I would stop on my way home and get a Bang just for shits and gigs.

My anxiety got out of control about a month ago along with feeling pretty shitty around 7-8pm each night.

I am now just taking the pre workout and drinking water and sugar free powerade during the day and at night.

At least they’re diet Mountain Dews so it’s healthy. But seriously, are you really drinking that many sodas in a day?

You had debilitating withdrawals for a few months from getting off 2-3 cups of coffee a day?

dude those are rookie numbers. No concern with your heart at all with those.

I average a gram a day during the week. But I'm not addicted, I usually go the whole weekend with zero.
