I’m approaching 73 and I have used creatine as a supplement on gym days and have just begun including it every day. It may be mental at this point but it seems to aid in guaranteeing an extra push in gym days.

I tried the hot water thing as someone mentioned it last time. I'm changing brands and delivery method to give it one more try.

I'm 65 and have had sleep apnea for years. I was constantly spending my days in a slight fog. About 3 months ago I started taking 8000 mg daily of Creatine gummies.

I have zero doubt it has made a dramatic difference in my mental sharpness, memory, etc. Thanks to you guys for posting about that aspect of it, and not just the workout benefits. I feel so much more alert and on my game, it's crazy

I take 5g of creatine every day. Perhaps there is value in taking more but I seem to get great results with just 5g a day. Eat meat and you’ll get some additional.

my parents are 75 and id like to see if i can introduce it and convince them to start taking it. two questions
1 - what brand is recommended for quality and USA produced?
2 - any one page "leave-behinds" you recommend i can bring to their home that define what creatine is and why it is beneficial?

thanks

1. ON Creatine
No idea if it’s made in the USA but generally regarded as high quality creatine.

2. I’m not doing that homework. Maybe Grok or ChatGPT could provide a nice summary for you?

I was thinking similar to stick with 5g per day although might go for 10g every once in a while to get the overflow effect.

I eat more red meat than most so probably get some there also.

Sweet. Was looking for some but only found some that were 100s per months for adequate serving.

That’s what I use. That or optimum from Costco. NC is better IMO because it is more powdery and dissolves better.

I like the NC Creapure product. Also get my Beta alanine, and l-citruline from them.

I’ve had issue with it causing frequent nighttime urination. It’s seems to be fairly uncommon, but something to consider for the 40+ crowd.
