I really dislike front squats I'm sure once I figure out a proper grip I won't mind them as much

Fix your mobility limitations. Front squats at those percentages should be really easy

Day 9 done. Was the longest time wise so far this year.

Kinda liked the curls / carries finisher. Blew up the grip and forearms as others said

Cheers fellas

I’m providing constructive feedback. Front squats at 40% of your back squat max should not be uncomfortable and really should be more of an intro into the movement. If it’s that bad, he likely likes front rack and thoracic mobility which is why he “hates” them. Things like pvc shoulder dislocates, front rack stretches, and thoracic mobility should alleviate most or all of that.

Or you can just be a pussy and whine that I’m trying to help the guy. Up to you I guess

Was glad that we got some bench press in along with the curls. Is there a standard weight for ez-curl bars? My gym only carries up to 100 for the pre-configured bars and I felt I had some room to go above that with only 5 reps.

Today went great. The 90% and 95% singles felt heavy when unracking, but the ascent was really smooth and fairly easy. 95% was 25# off my true 1RM I set earlier this year.

I know it's early, but I'm really optimistic about the PR party at the end of the month. 25# off my all-time 1RM after a back injury less than 3 months ago has me amped up!

20lbs I believe

I know it's silly but there is likely a scale at the gym, bring the bar over

Day 10 - Seesaw complete

Was good way to end the week. Slight pause on last heavy single but went up smooth

Front squats coming along and getting more comfortable with them

Y’all have a good weekend, Cheers & Geaux Tigers

Yup well done all

First full week of the season.

Knees feeling good. Thighs feeling thick.

I added some auxiliary work for tris and shoulders since the next two days are off.

Campfire and extra hotdogs tonight. Smoked gamecock tomorrow!

Solid one today.

95% moved much better than I thought.

68% was the most I’ve front squat in a long time. 225 is the most I’ve repped in a while but today was 270 and it felt good.

Cheers to the weekend fellas.

I did 170 if that's make you feel better

Seesaws were fun. I added a few sets of chinups after just because it was a relatively quick day.

Cumulative fatigue setting in for me. My body needs these two rest days.

I slept 9 hours last night.

We are a few days behind and hitting pressure cooker today. I got 15 sets of 2 at 315; pretty sure 315 was my first PR when I first ran squatober lol.
