Finishing up now. I ran this morning and I haven't eaten anything yet. I was expecting to feel weakened a little, but I had a great lift.

Went a little lighter on the cardio arm, but still feel really strong.

Those grey sweatpants really DO work!

Enjoy the weekend boys!

I'll probably do another run tomorrow morning as I don't sleep well before my son's football games (I coach his team). I'll probably do a full rest day on Sunday.

Tonight is definitely some hard earned pizza and beer though.

Hell of a workout today. Glad I’m off this afternoon because that took a solid 80 minutes. Even had to superset the cardio with 25x25 for 5.

Going to treat myself with a nice heavy pour of bourbon tonight. Good first week boys.

Also I have to give a shoutout to my wife. She has surprised the hell out of me by finishing the first with us!

Yeah the lifts today weren’t bad. Good work but those 125’s… LAWD

I did too. I quickly decided that I hate working arms!

This was a good finish for the week and I'm feeling it. I need to get in that recovery walk this evening and I think I've earned a nice big ribeye this weekend

Happy to report that I did day 3 today. Kind of shocked I was able to do the carries in my gym but made it happen. Going to catch up tomorrow.

Days late and several dollars short...whats new? Just finished day #2 with the seesaw scheme. This was one of my favorite schemes from last year. I was really smoking those squat reps and feeling smooth. I wore my new (to me) Adidas lifting shoes, and they are winners. Much more comfortable than my Nikes. I'll put some pictures up sometime and share some thoughts about SQUAT! footwear since someone asked.

Honored the prescribed rest times and worked up a nice sweat, and I must have been feeling all those reps because I had a big mental lapse and forgot to accurately check the loaded bar weight for the last set of 10 on the seesaw, should have been 275 but I had 295 on the bar. Whoopsie! Didn't feel like it made a difference.

While I can stretch myself and push hard enough to make short work of 40 total reps on the squat, the same is pretty difficult for me on the bench. I'm very well conditioned to do the traditional 3 sets of 5, and I've become accustomed to doing the 2 sets of 5 and a final AMRAP set that is used in other programming. So for me, I'm usually doing, at the most, 22-ish total reps across 3 sets, but often I'm in the 16-20 range. I like it there. The higher reps stuff is really fatiguing for my pressing and bench pressing. By the last 4 or 5 reps on the last set of bench press I felt like I was cheating a bunch. I was bringing the bar down to just below my xiphoid by the end there, what can I say...my triceps were failing me so I had to compromise.

15x30yds with 80s.... ugh. I made it 14.5x30yds when my left hand gave out. Went to the floor before I just dropped it from 3ft.

I’ve felt genuinely tired like I helped someone move or dug post holes after the day 3 and 4 workouts, but the next day I’ve recovered fine. Going to hit some HIIT and abs work today along with the walk I think.

I'm about to jump on this workout. I want to get ahead this week. I'll have the option for a rest day mid week or to finish up Thursday night depending on how my body feels.

Also... I'm bored and this looks like a good one.

*** edit***Ok, finished up a few minutes ago. These lifts felt good. I really didn't like the BP one armed DB row SS. Felt a little awkward to me.

The cardio was a mofo because I made up my mind to knock it out in 3 sets. 34, 35, and 31 reps at 105lbs.

Squats felt solid and I was tempted to sneak in another heavy set or two, but I didn't.

About to go get my recovery walk pushing the lawnmower for a few hours.

I decided to do this one tonight and take tomorrow off

Good for you getting those 100 done in 3 sets - I came in trying to go 25x4 and that did not work

I’m doing DB bench instead of barbell so that SS with the rows was a pain in the arse (even with my new Nuobells) and last two sets I just said screw it and used same weight for both

Pretty sure it was a bad idea. My arms are spent. Thursday's farmer walks followed by 125's on Friday. Add in 100 CG bench today and my arms are fatigued.

I did some dead hangs and my forearms held up so I guess I'll be ready for deadlifts romorrow night if he drops some in the next workout.

Day 7 done before work this morning.

Quick one today. I was out in 45 minutes. 92% moved easier than I thought.

I ended up doing 40, 25, 25, 10 on close grip BP. My forearms were yelling at me towards the end

Yeah. Today's workout looks pretty short. I decided to get a good run in this morning.

I'll hit the gym at lunch today and hopefully knock this out in 45 min with enough time to get in some ab work.
