Tainted supplements...well, it's a handy excuse.

I have an extremely hard time buying it. If it was spiking supplements with snake oil, I'd totally buy that. Spiking run of the mill supps with anabolics, I don't buy that.

Anything that you could confuse with steroids is already strong enough to be illegal. Anyone that wonders why their bench press went up 75 lb because of that new brand of "fish oil" they took didn't actually take fish oil.

Literally every professional sport has gearheads. Why is this such a big deal?

I have no issue with it or any sport

It’s still a pretty new sport and athletic competition and I’m sure the top guys and gals programming doesn’t reflect what the average crossfitters at their local box

I don't either, just don't run all the pr about being "clean." Just follow strongman's lead and don't ask and don't tell.

Boom. Exactly.

I have no problem with the usage whatsoever. My problem is marketing it as “hard work” and progenix. That’s how they’re able to do 7 workouts a day and recover on a dime? C’mon.

Just be honest about it.

They probably spent a good 20 minutes disputing all the PED claims

I chuckled when they said "people claim PEDs because they're no way people can run that long and lift that much". No, people think elite level athletes are doping because there's just no way you can do 3-4 of the WODs they do every single day in training and not have your body fall apart unless youre enhancing your recovery

It would be really bad for them if the Frasers and Thorissdottirs of the world started testing positive.

It will be funny if Fraser ever goes down. I doubt they will bust him though.

Give me a break. All of these guys train religiously every day and this cat finishes in the top 2 in like 80% of the events for two straight years??? I don't think so.

Why would it be funny? I think if he is using then he should be caught and I honestly think they would roast his nuts. I think C.F. doesn't care who you are, they will slam your arse if they catch you. Ricky Garard hit the scene with a bang and they drop kicked his arse.

I think plenty do steroids but I think plenty don't. It's that way in every physical sport. I do find it funny that when someone excels physically everyone says they must be cheating.

Some people are just gifted with superior genetics. Some have access to the latest recovery methods (cryo, perf, etc) and spend a fortune on treatment. Most spend as much time in recovery as they do training.

At the end of the day, I can care less what they do to their body's.

It would be funny because Matt has talked a lot of shite about how natural he is and how anyone who takes PEDs is and I quote him “a piece of shite“.

Natural is the most overrated term.

High protein diets aren't natural. Vitamins aren't natural. Protein powder and creatine aren't natural.

Lifting weights isn't natural.
It's a spectrum and what most people talk about as natural is an arbitrary dividing line.

well, I saw one video of him saying this but the other part was...... if you step into the competition claiming "steroid free" but are taking them then you are a piece of shite. In the video I watched he didn't have a problem with you taking them and admitting it. But you may have seen something different.

But yes, if they are claiming steroid free and they do them, the hell with them! Mat Fraser included.

I just don't think that every top performer in whatever sport is automatically cheating.

I am not naïve about all the steroid use in CF or other sports, but labeling an entire sport tainted is not good b/c of a few cheaters. The entire MLB wasn't using PED's just because Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, and some others were using.

The truth is its not steroids that separate the elite athletes from the avg Joe. It's God given talent and an internal desire to be the best. Some have none of it and some have just one of the two but if you have both...... that's when you see amazing shite. And if you have that person take steroids then you have crazy things happening.

The thing with CF is, most people doing CF are athletes who couldn't make it in another sport. Soccer players, swimmers, baseball players, powerlifters. There is a lot more money in other sports. So now you end up with some athletes with a desire to succeed and varying degrees of talent. So you get someone who like Froning who had a ton of talent, ton of desire, but was too short or not fast enough to play pro ball but CF just fit his talents perfect. Same with Fraser. That's not to say those guys don't/didnt' use PEDs b/c I don't have a clue. However, I am smart enough to give them the benefit of the doubt due to other factors instead of just assuming they are using PEDs.

I just don’t see how that would be possible unless she sucked his dick like 10 times the day before the test.

The amount ‘transferred’ from one person to another would be so small that it probably wouldn’t show up on the test. Again, unless she had non stop sex/makeout sessions the day/week of the test.
