Surprise said nobody. The games are dirty. These are just the athletes dumb enough to get caught. I’d say it’s AT LEAST 70% of all games level athletes are on some type of PED.

So what does T/e Ratio mean? “The T/E ratio is the proportion of Testosterone (T) to Epitestosterone (E) detected in the urine. The human body creates testosterone and its precursors naturally. Therefore, when testing for anabolic steroid abuse, it is necessary to distinguish between naturally produced testosterone and that which is the result of taking drugs or supplements.
On average, a normal T/E ratio is 1, with some variation possible on either side. Taking anabolic steroids and related supplements suppresses natural steroid production. In abusers, the concentration of testosterone in the urine is expected to be higher than normal owing to direct ingestion of the drug.
However, epitestosteronelevels will remain suppressed. Therefore, a urinalysis that reveals lowered epitestosterone levels in concert with abnormally high testosterone levels is indicative of anabolic steroid use. A T/E ratio of greater than 6 is considered evidence of anabolic steroid abuse. Consequently, drug testing labs will often use that number as evidence of a presumptive positive when initially screening urine for the presence of anabolic steroids. A presumptively positive result initiates a more sensitive test to confirm the true T/E ratio.” (Sciencedirect.com)

Why you mad? I do CrossFit lol. The sport needs to clean itself up. That’s all I’m saying

I was just making fun of the "BREAKING NEWS" headline you originally had about a person that no one has ever heard of
Posted on 7/16/18 at 1:06 pm to TDcline
I remember when I competed in powerlifting anything above a 4:1 test:epitestosterone ratio would get the lifts banned.
This was usada that did the testing.
So the testing is more lenient in that regard.

I watched the Netflix movie last night Highlighting the 2017 games. They probably spent a good 20 minutes disputing all the PED claims. If you have to deny it so adamantly then you're probably guilty. Garard was killing it last year, but clearly doping.

Yea, I had just copied and pasted the headline. Forgot it had “Breaking News” in the title

I was thinking the same thing when I watched it. Their goal was obviously to dispel the rumors that’s begun to circulate throughout the community. If you have to do an entire, movie quality documentary on the topic, then it’s probably a bigger issue than we realize.

Exactly. The points they made were also really bad. They acknowledged that some competitors are doping, but the top ones are testing clean. Of course they are because they are the faces of Crossfit. It would be really bad for them if the Frasers and Thorissdottirs of the world started testing positive.

As I've said before, the only extent I care is that Crossfit goes out of its way to claim clean when it isn't.
It's similar to people who push six pack solutions through workouts and supplements when they heavily rely on PED's. If you want to make the choice to use, that's your choice and it does not negate hard work. It does screw over average people who believe a WOD and preworkout got the games winners where they are.

agree
a 4 year ban is pretty steep IMO for first offense. Im sure they think the long bans will deter the cheaters.

She posted on IG saying it was inadvertent exposure but wouldn’t say how.
Sex with her fiancée?
Swallowing?
Met her 2x in Miami at Wodapalooza. She’s very nice and doesn’t have a huge ego.

At least Crossfit is enforcing its own rules. It would have been even worse if they tried to keep it swept under the rug. Hopefully that will last.

Some crossfit girl publicly used that excuse a few years ago lol. I wish I would be inadvertently exposed to peds and received half of the "tainted supplements" these people claim they receive..
I've always liked her perception, doesn't seem like a douche, seems like she would be a cool girl to hang out with.

I think she was DTF as well.
After winning the final heat in the final event at the 2016 Wodapalooza, she was on the mic and asked if there were any tall, dark and handsome men around for afterwards.
