I’m in ... a little nervous about how it will affect my heavy lifting chest/tri days? Any thoughts on this??? - starting April 1.

My first chest tri workout following the weekend of this shite was terrible. Second one 7 days later I set a new personal record on DB incline. Go figure.

I did chest on Wednesday after knocking out the push ups earlier in the day. Once I finished my first set and got through the soreness, I was amazed at how much stronger I felt on flat bench.

2 weeks in. I kind of slacked this weekend due to a golf tournament. I ate like crap Friday, drank and ate all day Saturday, and felt sluggish yesterday.

Already 250 in this morning and plan on kicking arse this week!

I leave for Cabo April 27 and I'm inspired. 30/10,000 challenge will start this evening, coupled with my ordinary workouts and not eating like an a-hole. If I want a beer or two, I'm drinking a goddamn beer or two.

Will post measurements this evening and check in periodically.

I'm on day 2. This is brutal.

Did 347 yesterday. At 250 for today and can barely do 10 in a row now.

I’m starting 4/1 and prepping now. Doing between 100-350 per day... did heavy chest today ... felt good but I only did 100 today and 130 yesterday.

Joining you baws April 1st. Do you guys recommend going to failure in larger sets or breaking it up into smaller sets?

I already do a workout twice a week where 1 rep is 5 pushups/1 bw squat/running in place for 5-10 secs. I do 60 of those in a row for 300 total pushups. I could easily add another 10 reps to that for 70 which would equal around 350 and would easily let me get 10,000 in a month. But am I really doing anything if Im not pushing myself to failure?

I usually break it into 25-30 reps. Makes it more manageable. Also if you really focus on contracting your pecs at the top of the rep, the push ups become way harder. Here is a link that will explain what I mean.

Day 1 done, 333 in the books. Did sets of 20 until the final 33. Everything from 7:00 pm to about 15 minutes ago. Going to take measurements tomorrow morning to track results.

7 days in and feeling great. Day 2-4 were rough but now I'm cranking out sets of 25 no issue.

I'm gonna add the 1k pull-up goal and see what happens. It's about 45 a day for the rest of this challenge which isn't too bad.
