Hit 50 this morning before leaving for work. Gonna try to be conscious about pacing myself this first week to prevent injury.

Started this morning. Got 100 in so far this morning and already feeling a bit fatigued on the last few. Can tell this first week is going to suck

I'll be in the hospital for the next few days (wife having a baby), so this will keep me active. Maybe I'll be able to get ahead of schedule a bit.

Need to knock some out at work without bringing attention to myself. Too tall so my feet are gonna be sticking out in the aisle from my cube.

I'm not setting a goal of doing a certain amount. For me, it would quickly turn into a chore, rather than a fun challenge. I am just going to see how many I can do in 30 days to get a baseline. The repeat 15 days later. 5.5 days in and I'm at just over 1k.

Allergies and booze killed me Friday-Sunday, only got 450 of 999 in. I have to makeup a deficit of 550. My daily total is now 356 for the remaining 24 days. Shouldn't be an issue, just can't can't be hungover and snotty anymore.

Are you guys still weight training while doing this challenge?

Busting out 400 pushups and hitting chest at the gym in the same day just seems dangerous

I am … but will ease back my hard chest days to maybe 1.5 times per week - maybe 6 times this month. Will work harder on my back / curls to offset the pushups.

I'm going to try to get in a few higher rep days so that my chest days (or the day before my hard chest days) will be less stressful as maybe I'll only do 200 or so those days. 315 in the books already today. Going to try to stay north of 400 up to 500 if possible.

So this thread got me motivated to start today, just did 150 in my office. Place on doing chest this evening. Will probably do another 150 at the office before the end of the day.

It wasn't too bad. I'll just take tonight a little easy just to test the waters.

I like the idea of working harder on the back an bi's to complement all the pushups.

I’m in for April. Definitely gonna add the 1k pull ups with it because 33 pull ups a day sounds like a cake walk. I’m gonna try to add the 100 miles as well but I fricking hate running so we’ll see.

Started this afternoon. I got in from a trip late last night, so I didn't get a jump on it this morning. Knocked out 100 just now, I'll do another 75 before dinner, then do another 175 before bed. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and I can get at least 100 before work.

I’ve trained chest the same day with no problem. Actually felt stronger on my lifts. Would suggest maybe knocking out push ups as early as possible in the morning, give your chest a little break and hit chest later that evening.

What’s been working for me is changing up the push ups. If I’m working shoulders that day, then I’m making sure I isolate the chest muscles more, and vice versa.

I’m by no means an expert, it’s just what has been working for me.

Getting closer to the finish. I’ve been really trying to mix up the push ups to make it harder.

What the hell got into you March 25?

Going to stop at 400 today. Going to try to get 400+ the first week cause I know I'm going to hit a wall at some point.

550 today
33 pull ups
350 sit ups
6.55 miles.

No way I can hang on but here’s hoping I can make 2 of the gioals - 10000/1000/10000/100 miles
