I feel like his posture would be horrible if he only did push ups year round.

I’m liking that everyone is getting on board! I’m 9 days in and already seeing good progress. I may join you guys for April as well.

I think I’m in to join you guys in April

I’ve done variations of this many times, moslty like 25 pushups every top of the hour while at work, so I think I should be able to do this pretty easily.

Will just have to remind myself on the weekends.

From what I've seen, his posture actually isnt too bad. A lot of his 'aesthetics' come from being so lean.

The only workouts he does are 3x a week 90 minutes of as many pushups as possible.

I missed my 330 yesterday (having a tiring week at work) so have some catching up to do!

Day Four: I definitely wasn't feeling it this morning, but I pushed through and knocked out 410. It wasn't easy though.

8 sets of 40 and 2 sets of 45.

No it isn't that's why I don't think he only does push-ups.
My shoulders would be so rounded if I only did push ups for years

I'm in, but will only be doing 5,000 in 30 days.
Can't do regular pushups due to an old wrist injury so I do them using pushup bars with my feet elevated about a foot.

Speaking of variations from regular push ups, is everyone doing regular push ups or are yall changing it up?

I'm thinking of using the mad barz app that I've had success with.
They have different routines that use a variety of push-ups. Regular, decline, incline, clap, diamond, wide, etc.

May be too tough though

Did this 3 to 4 years ago. If you can alternate it with pullups, you will definitely see results without even going to a gym.

Edit: I believe the last time I remember a thread like this was in the month of June. Circa 2015.

Are you saying the challenge should be 5000 of each?

However, your shoulders and triceps will explode. From a visual / asthetics standpoint, I've never looked more in-shape than I did a year ago after completing this challenge. You will look like an absolute animal.

I’m sold. Way back when, I used to do 100 push-ups every night, 4-5 nights per week. Never noticed any gains so I quit.
