I agree. There’s a picture I took of myself after I finished the challenge the first time where I look absolutely shredded. My shoulders looked better than ever. I’m actually using that picture for motivation.

I'm going to incorporate this into my combination of IF, KETO, and athlean X shred. It seems like it shouldn't consume to much of my already busy schedule. I'm going to be on the beach in five weeks. Hopefully this twist can push me to my desired results.

I also did this a few years ago when the challenge was posted here. I was 52 years old at the time and got to 6,000-7,000 for the month. I looked and felt totally different by the end of the month - probably the best shape in my life.
I also threw in crunches, pull-ups, body weight squats, etc., so it was an overall kick-start to getting in better shape.
I started something similar at the beginning of February, but only at 200 per day. I’m ready to jump back on this again now at 56 years old.

I'm going to start this challenge tomorrow.

I'm on day 4 of the same challenge. I'm working in the pushups with the rest of my workouts.

Update: Week 1
My shoulders were pretty sore on Saturday. I worked threw it with shorter sets. Sunday morning I did Murph at the park and finished the rest after the parade. I am definitely feeling like I can crank more out at a time if I need to, but listening to my body bc my shoulders are definitely sore.
This week I will also mix up the types of push ups I do to keep it interesting.

Gonna start this today. 3 week old baby is making it hard to get to the gym so this may be my best option. I will try to make it 5,000 in 30 days so 167/day is my goal. If I get to the end and feel like I can go over, I will try but I want to try something less daunting than 10,000. Hopefully I can get to that point though. I will work in sprints 3 days a per week as well for Cardio. Starting weight is 238.

FitNotes Workout - Monday 18th March 2019
Total Reps: 333
Just finished. Took about half an hour. Not sure whether this is enough to have the incredible results people have been saying but we'll see... Perhaps I need to focus on higher rep sets and bringing that half hour time down each day.

4 days in at 940 reps of my dips/pull-ups/push-ups. Have a counter on my phone and am just adding them up. It's 25% pull-ups/35% dips/40% Push-up breakdown.
Still have the afternoon and evening session to try and maintain the pace.
My normal workout this morning was shite though after the weekend of this shite.

I would focus more on making sure you have the correct form. Chest to floor and lock out. Do the push ups whenever you can. I break mine up all day long. Sometimes it’s 9 PM and I’m finishing them. But I’m also adding this to a regular workout schedule.

August 2018 to January 2019, only push-ups and fasting
Pretty damn impressive.
I could be reading that wrong and it was August 2017 to January 2019. Either way, impressive.

I just did 10,000 push ups today. Arms a bit tired; hopefully my shoulders and triceps will look good tomorrow.
Posted on 3/19/19 at 3:52 am to Bigryno7
Working on day five now. It hasn't been overly taxing except on days where I'm also doing chest/triceps exercises in my other routine.
I've been doing six sets of fifty. After the sixth set a short rest the pressing out the last thirty three.

Ahhh I was doing it wrong. I thought it was 30 push ups over 10,000 days.
Posted on 3/19/19 at 9:12 am to MrSpock
I started yesterday and was planning on breaking it up throughout the day. I am doing 60 at a time so 3 sets of 20. I just do it whenever I find time during the day. If I have time for more, I do it but I want at least 3 x 20 each time.

Damn, that's incredible. Push-ups alone did that to him? (Exercise wise, not counting diet) Wow.
