Step ups are allowed in Rx

Yeah, I don't see that mentioned until the bottom of the PDF. Kinda confusing. At 24", with my short legs, I think jumps are actually easier.

May do RX simply because I don't want to get all that far in this particular workout.

I got through the 185s and managed 10 pistols.

If my left knee wasn’t fricked up, I would have gotten through the first set of 30 pistols and started the 225 C&J.

Have you seen the hint?

I think it's a 2-parter.

Yeah.. Either an A/B or a couplet. Then again, his hints make no sense whatsoever.

I’m sticking with my guess.

Would be painful but fun. Wouldn't hate for it to be 40, 30, 20, or 30, 20, 10 instead though

30 cal row
30 wall balls
30 pull-ups
20 cal row
20 wall balls
20 CTB pull-ups
10 cal row
10 wall balls
10 bar MUs

Spoon/Fork

Spoon on one end, fork on the other.

For time with a 20 min cap:

40 ring MUs
80 cal row
120 wall balls 20/14

Partioned any way you want. If you can’t do ring MUs, you save them for last.

I got the number of wall balls and time cap correct.

Scaled:

For time, partitioned any way:
40 chin-over-bar pull-ups
80-cal. row
120 wall-ball shots, 14-lb. ball to 10 ft.

Time cap: 20 min.

Yep. Gunna do all the rowing and WBs, then try a RMU at the end for giggles. Don’t think I could get one anyway, but it sucks not having any rings high enough to really try.

Would be pumped for this one if it was BMU.

I may attempt a few ring MUs at the beginning before starting a row/wall ball couplet.

Just finished. Can't do Muscle Ups, much less Ring Muscle Ups.

I wasn't in a huge hurry because I knew I couldn't get the RMUs anyway.

I did all of the rowing first. Finished about 4:20.

Then I did the wall balls. Finished right under 17.

I figured the rowing wouldn't take long and it would probably just be a lot of wasted time transitioning so I just did each move all the way.

I guess I’m gonna roll with Matt Chan’s strategy
4 rounds of

2 muscle ups
10 wall balls
2 muscle ups
10 cal row
2 muscle ups
10 wall balls
2 muscle ups
10 cal row
2 muscle up
10 wall balls

I judged a friend today..

He was 221 at the cap.

He will redo on Monday with a different strategy..

Well I just gave it a go and did something a little different than my game plan earlier.

4 rounds of

4 MU
30 Wall Ball
20 cal row

I finished the 4 rounds in 15:29 and in the remaining time to got 10 more MU for a total of 226.

Those rings just make me nervous that I’m gonna blow a shoulder and it’s a different fatigue on them. Otherwise it was a good open!
