Castro posted a pic of two donkeys on IG, so I’m going with 11.4 (or 13.4 if you count the rooster in the background).

11.4 was a 10 min AMRAP
60 bar facing burpees
30 OHS 120/80
10 Bar MUs

13.4 a Clean/Jerk TTB couplet 7 min amrap
3 135/95 C&J
3 TTB
6 135/95 C&J
6 TTB
..add 3 reps every round until the cap

Really want a low rep BMU, but my shoulders would be fried by the time I made it to them. Would definitely be fine with option two.

is Crossfit really this cryptic. How would one know that 11.4 means two donkeys?

Exactly why I want some with low reps. I can't do many of them, but I know any amount I can knock out would bump me up a few thousand spots

Normally Castro's hints are so out there that no one can figure them out.

I am expecting a bunch of repeats from 2011-2014 since Castro posted pictures of those Open boards very recently.

New to CrossFit. Can you only do the Friday night lights for it to count towards the open or can you go to a Friday morning class to do the open?

10 Bar Facing Burpees
Time Cap: 15 minutes

Just a matter of when I get capped. As far as things I’m physically capable of, this is worst case scenario (aside from switching GtO with thrusters).

3-6-9-6-3 Strict Pullups
9-18-27-18-6 Snatches @ 75

Pullups were supposed to be bar MUs and I scaled back.

I'll just do the workout listed on our site. Kinda done with burpees for this week.

I got 178 reps. So 2 burpees shy of finishing.

My advice is to go out at a strong pace but not too hot. Try not to let up till you’re through round 5, preferably round 6. From there if needed, slow the burpees down by walking them up and catching your breath going into snatches.

I made the mistake of slowing down a little after round 4.

So far, no one has done this at our place. I liked our regular program way too much to attempt.

I think I am going to pass on it. Not sure what my motivation would be since we aren't having a competition at our crossfit and my goal is weight loss and there are better and longer workouts that would burn calories. Not saying that is a bad workout, but I need to lose some more weight and work on flexibility to get better at burpees, not kill myself doing 100 of them between gtos.
