I would suggest paedin to update the OP with everyone's numbers during the challenge but I'm sure some asshat would try to lie to look cool

Yeah, but there's no shame in not hitting 10k. Like I said, I do two workouts a day already, so if I fall below the requisite 324 per day, I'll live.

I would look tard with such low #'s.
Although I imagine doing it all at once is most effective each day, I think I could get my # much higher by spreading them out.
Of course, by day 2-3, I'd probably be too sore to even do 1.

You can count me "IN" on this.

that's basically why i was asking about the kettlebells. in an ideal world i'd rotate various HIIT routines, kettlebells, and basketball

Yeah that's what in thinking. I highly suggest doing some this weekend to knock out that initial soreness you get from not working out in a while. If you go from 0 to 300 push-ups in one day, you'll be too sore the next few days.

Can we get a "age" curve on this thing?

Posted on 7/24/14 at 4:08 pm to Paedin
I don't see any problem being able to do this.

Its really not that difficult if you get a few days under your belt before you start. When I was on house arrest, I didnt have anything better to so so I said I would do 500 pushups a day. After I could knock out 50 in a row, I broke it out into 10 sets of 50. I would do a set during a commercial.
