Butler National and Calusa Pines rank at the top, we played Butler from the 6700 members tees and the slope was still 146, Calusa we played the 6470 member tees and the slope was 143.

Mystic Creek

I'm scheduled to play TPC Louisiana in September, so I'm sure that list will be updated.

Isleworth in Orlando right after member member. Greens were a legit 13. It was impossible at times.

I think I would have to go with Mystic Creek.

I’ve played TPC, Sawgrass, And Kiawah....MC is BY FAR the hardest course I’ve ever played. if you play there in the summer, mid afternoon when it hasn’t rained in a week or two ... you might as well be putting on glass! Gorgeous course and excellently maintained but with the first like 8 holes fronted by water and greens that fast...good luck

Damn, this is one of the greatest courses on the planet.

That had to be a hell of an experience.

Lol... no lie, Uclub from the Tiger Tees. Guess I need to branch out more

Same, right after they reopened from renovations like 10 years back. The greens were still rock hard and they hadn't flattened some of the knobs in the greens. You could hit a wedge to the middle of the green and it would bounce 10' in the air and off the green.

I played Torrey Pines South from the PGA Tour tees during the run up to the US Open.

Similar story to yours at Torrey, but a couple of days after the U.S. Open. Hell, even the sand traps played differently than normal. Hardest, but actually one of my favorite rounds ever.

Pinehurst 2 with the greens rolling at a 12. I am a +1.3 and shot 94. I have never been more penalized for hitting great iron shots. You have to hit it in the right spot or you are screwed. Also putted two balls off the green and into a bunker; one of which I thought the putt broke about a foot left when in reality it broke a foot right. Hard, tight lies around the green that are nearly impossible to get up and down from. Needless to say I will get a caddie if I ever go back.

Friend of mine played there this past Saturday. He said the greens are a lot more receptive than they have been in the past, but you are correct as far as I’m concerned. The other thing is that with all the elevated greens, your ball can trickle of the edge of the green and you’re going to end up with a 20-30 yard lob wedge shot. There are very few “safe” misses.

Camp Creek from the tips is rough.

Played UCLUB a week after it reopened from the tippy tips. Couldn't get a wedge to stop on the new greens. Bounced a 9 iron on 4 from the front of the green to the back. Played great and shot 95.

This. Also the Irish at Whistling was a ball breaker.

Wolf Creek in NV was a tough one too.

Silverado where they play the Safeway. in Napa. Tight fairways and small greens that were slick.

Musgrove Mill in Clinton, SC.

Playing it in February when everything was dormant Made it much harder. Still the fastest greens I have ever putted on.

Colony West GC in Florida 141 slope/ 75.0 rating is a damn sled. It is so hard from the tips, The Hogan Tour played it once and refused to return.

Doral in the wind

Kapaula Plantation in the trade winds

Wolf Creek in Nevada, where you could die falling off the tee boxes.

Waterwood National was in Huntsville Texas, brutal course and another course where the Tour Q School refused to retun because of difficulty.
