Are you meaning nurses or NPs? Big difference. Some NPs already make 200+. I will promise you there is zero chance nurses (RNs, LPNs, MAs) phase out doctors. Their knowledge level and skill set are just no where near comparable. ...
After agent fees, taxes, etc; I bet he sees 45% of that. Say he actually got 7 million, that would be a reasonable bet worth after living expenses. ...
We have the option of getting in about $182k between 401k with profit share/match/after tax, rollover Roth, and defer comp. Gives a lot of options for retirement since you can get about $34k a year in after tax regardless of income. Should allow good control of income tax in retirement years. ...

If one round, would definitely not recommend Adare. For true Irish experience, RCD would be tough to beat. Ballybunion and Lahinch are awesome courses. Old head is probably the most scenic course I’ve ever played, but also not the most traditional Links. Doonbeg is also a beautiful course. ...

What’s your other investments, what’s the pension amount, what’s the payout if you leave it in? What’s your plans for the limo sum if you remove it?...

What are your current retirement accounts, life expectancy, equity in the house, and retirement goals? Impossible to answer without knowing some information ...
I recommend driving out to limestone springs. No idea of the conditions, but really pretty layout...

I can guarantee you tour guys are not going warming up with floating golf balls. Club members, sure, but these guys are warming up with the balls they play. ...
I would argue most MLB pitchers have great arms. That is an accurate statement. Though velo has increased, a lefty throwing high 90s is still a desirable quality. But if you can’t actually do anything with it, it doesn’t matter. Semantics and I’m done. ...
Eh. I think that means you have a great arm. It doesn’t mean you can pitch. ...
You never responded to my replay as asked. The returns are based off stock market historical averages. What if the life insurance company goes insolvent? How can you guarantee that?...
I am tyring to answer and told you my answer. I will be self-insured by the time my term insurance runs out. The death benefit of a WL policy will not be needed in that situation to provide for my family/inheritance. When I compared my cost of buying term insurance plus investing my excess, I end...
Completely agree. Impossible to "prove" without knowing the number going in. For me personally, the whole life would underperform by about 40% compared to expected return in S&P stocks. Even factoring in a 15% tax rate long term cap gains, I would be leaving signicant money on the table. For...

You will not have to pay taxes on withdrawal, but you will pay more in taxes now. Therefore, it will take up more of your salary currently, but will grow tax free overtime. It depends on your tax bracket to know which one makes more sense. ...
Do you legitimately ever post about a single thing besides GameStop? If your portfolio has the same diversity of your posting, I feel sorry for you. ...

In the same boat with a 5 and 3 yo. Our plan is mayde do Alaska cruise (possibly Disney) soon, and do Yosemite the next year. First true international will be Iceland. Easy to get to, and a lot to see (horseback riding, northern lights, etc). Eventually (once oldest around 10-12) will do African...
I would roll it into a 401k. 32k over the next 7 years with fairly conservative 7% return would be 256k. That money would remain invested to some degree while you begin drawing on it. Assuming 85 year life expectancy, you would draw a total of between 250-300k draw on the pension. I would think ...
