I'd rather play Tobacco Road than any of the Pinehurst courses, with the exception of 2 & 4. The Ross package is definitely worth it though. But if you go, you have to play Tobacco Road.

The answer is simple: Seemore! I've always had a poor stroke and could never get the concept of making an arc with the putter. I was inconsistent to say the least; my 4-5 birdie looks inside 12 feet rarely went in. I was probably the best two putt par putter around. I decided to switch to a Seemore putter and I've never had more confidence with my putter than I do now. If you trust the concept and practice with it for a couple of rounds, I guarantee that you will get down to 30 putts or less in no time. Good luck man, I've been there.

Tobacco Road is probably one of the best courses I've ever played. Very challenging but it doesn't matter because the course is so cool. Would rather play there than the Pinehurst courses, which are about 10 min down the road.

Played Saturday and the greens were immaculate. Unfortunately, we've gotten 5 inches or more of rain since then.

Pinehurst 2 with the greens rolling at a 12. I am a +1.3 and shot 94. I have never been more penalized for hitting great iron shots. You have to hit it in the right spot or you are screwed. Also putted two balls off the green and into a bunker; one of which I thought the putt broke about a foot left when in reality it broke a foot right. Hard, tight lies around the green that are nearly impossible to get up and down from. Needless to say I will get a caddie if I ever go back.

Forest Hills is a pretty cool track. It's a Donald Ross design. Home of Augusta State and Patrick Reed.
