I thought Phil and Tiger were captains picks? Both of them have underwhelming records, and Phil’s game was in the shitter last fall. I would have made Phil an assistant captain and put someone new and hungry out there like Kisner.

im more talking about when they actually were there. Not sure how Kisner would play in the style golf that had to be played.

Kisner was made for that kind of course. Straight and tight and punishing rough and making big putts. That’s his game.

I still wished they did this the old way s curve 1-64 and then play the Semis and Finals basically best of 36

Half the field is from outside the US so showing up for one day and T-33 finish is definitely not ideal
