Lay em on me, going to be there 3/13-3/17 for a low key golf bachelor party.

Playing 2, 4, 8 and Tabaco Road. Have caddies booked for 2 & 4 already.

What are the must do's, restaurants, bars, etc.

Make sure you spend time at the Cradle. 4 is better than 2 imo. Tobacco Road beats them all. Just know that if you play TR Sunday, you won’t be able to drink till the afternoon.

If you have time, sit on the back porch and watch some groups come in on 2. Always fun cheering and booing.

I wasn't overly impressed with Pinehurst Brewing Co.. Maybe I just hit it on a bad night. Drum And Quill was good. Dugan's Pub was fun. Close to the Holly where we styed.
As suggested, the Cradle is worth your time. I'd put it as a must do.

Pinehurst pizza was great. Not far from the clubhouse.

Agree with everything said above. TR will amaze you. How Strantz thought of building holes like that is beyond me.

Was there in late October.

Loved 4 and 2, in that order. Granted I played a much better round on 4.

Was not a fan of 8 at all. Greens were brand new and hard as a rock. Also lose the element of playing golf in the sandhills that I enjoyed so much with 2 and 4. That was a unique feature of the area that 8 lacked. Would have switched out 8 for another course had I known.

Found the town itself to be very low key, but as another mentioned, really enjoyed sitting at the restaurant/bar right behind the 18th green and watching players come in. Gets really fun late in the day and had great weather for it. That's a must.

Carolina Hotel. Get a cigar and a glass of red and relax on the patio in one of the rocking chairs. An amazing way to end a day.

. They still have that guy playing piano weekend nights? That was fun. What is the name of the place you have to go downstairs to the basement to get in? That place isn’t bad either.

Make sure you at least get a forecaddy for Tobacco
So helpful because of all the blind shots
That course is amazing and was my favorite there

Half the fun is all the blind spots.

We were there in September. Def spend some time relaxing on the porch area of the Carolina hotel with drinks from the Ryder Cup Lounge. In September they were expanding the outdoor area outside of the Ryder Cup Lounge with more patio room and fire pits. That specific area and the rocking chairs at the main clubhouse overlooking 18 (on NO. 2) are 2 of the best seats to have a drink and soak in the atmosphere. The Cradle is also an excellent way to spend some time. If the outdoor bar over at the Pinecrest Inn in the Village is open stop there too. Few more locals stop by there. Enjoy your trip.

I always enjoy trips to Pinehurst. Have stayed at Carolina and Manor both were great, North/South bar at Manor was fun. 2 & 4 are must but the group also likes playing 7 & 9. Shuttle on demand is great, service spectacular. Ask the locals about events and course conditions, so friendly. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

My daughter had the best caddy when she did worlds there - I caddied for the other daughter so I hardly saw them - but they still keep in touch as we have dinner with him whenever we go back… he’s great for kids and also boys trips - if interested

Great golf place. Hit the north/south whiskey bar before dinner. Go to Lisi for dinner one night.

Play a round in the cradle in the late afternoon after one of your rounds. Get some drinks and have a time at the cradle. You’ll see at least one hole in one.

Place is unbelievable.

My bachelors party was there in July last year. Focused on golf and rented a house and grilled/cooked most of the time. Also skip the local titty bar there, it’s terrible

I just played 2, 6, and 8 about 4 months ago.

I’ll jump back on tomorrow to give you any advice I can think of.
