Lucas Glover says most PGA pros cheat driver testing

With Rory and Scottie getting caught recently we are obviously gonna get more conversation about it but it also makes me wonder how they got caught

I appreciate Lucas’ willingness to talk, but he’s said some incredibly stupid shite in the past. I only bring this up because I have no idea if this is true, and this coming from him makes me skeptical

Im skeptical because the top 2 guys just had to change drivers in the same week.
Also seems like it may just be sour grapes coming from Glover who is 162nd on tour in driving distance this year...

How hard would it be to do tag each club if the club is not tagged and used the golfer used an illegal club and is out of the tournament.

Can someone tell me what they are actually testing for? What is a pass and what is a fail?
Something else I read made it sound like 'good' drivers end up failing the test after so much use. (I have no idea if that is true)

The manufacturers make them conforming, but I read where they can become non-conforming with normal use.
I assume I’m not good enough for any of that to matter so I did not dive deep into the details.

So everyone cheats but Rory and Scottie don’t realize it and give up their drivers of over a year the week of a major?
That makes no sense. Rory would have just given his backup during the PGA if that was the case, same with Scottie

If only the PGA measured a stat that was irrespective of the driver used such as swing speed.

It's just more smoke on the subject. I have no idea what the difference between a conforming driver is vs. a driver that previously met conformity that has fallen out. Is it 10 extra yards? More forgiving leading to higher accuracy? By how much.
Do they use some sort of scanning/ x-ray machine to test conformity? If it's a problem, they either need to change the rule that a driver that meets conformity today is good for 6 months from now or they need to increase testing and ensure that the players are playing the tested club. To me it's a bigger problem being allowed to test club X and play club Y.

We got Bryson out here 3D printing irons that are basically encoded with his DNA but everyone is freaking out because a couple of guys had to switch drivers because theirs probably gave them 2 extra yards.

Scottie admitted that PGA players basically let drivers run hot until they get flagged. If Scottie is doing it, I guarantee you most everyone is.

He is saying, when randomly tested, players lie and give the testers their backup driver that isn’t played so it will pass the test, and then they go out and use their main driver that was never tested in the tournament
