If you could play a round at any course in the state, which would it be?

And what Louisiana golf player (current and former) would you play the round with?

Squire Creek.

And I don’t understand the second question. Do you mean a person? If so, Burns.

I need a second round there. My one and only was cool and very wet. We got zero roll on drives, and damn did that play long.

I got to play 3 rounds when the state am was there. Obviously missed the cut. It’s such a great course.

I'll to a top three for both since I'm sure a majority of the answers are Squire with Same Burns.

Courses
1. Squire
2. CCL
3. NOCC

Players
1. Sam Burns
2. David Toms
3. Kyle Williams

Squire Creek with Jon Daly.

He lived in Zachary and won the Baton Rouge City Junior 2x.

Don't care what course, as long as I have Ali Landry as my playing partner.

I think Squire should be everyone's answer, and it's depressing that there isn't a great competitor.

I'd you did the entire US, you'd get some Pebble, a bunch of ANGC, and some other high end private clubs. There would at least be some variety. In LA, it's hard to make a strong case for any other course or for the decision to not be almost automatic.

The entire US would be interesting.

I'd probably still pick Augusta, but I'd contemplate a bunch of other courses too.

A good one would be US, can't pick Augusta National

Can we throw in closed down courses? If so I'll go with Shreveport Country Club with Hal Sutton.

Grew up playing there and seeing Hal in the grill as a kid, but it closed before I was old enough/good enough to play very well.
