Fred Couples range sessions. Let that tempo rock you to sleep.

Played this evening and they rolled pretty darn well I thought.
Cherokee Run is a fun track. There’s also Ashton Hills in Covington, GA (not far from Cherokee Run) that’s also a good spot. Enjoy Augusta National. There’s truly nothing like it.
Look back at the 2008 US team. Not many were riding high with that team. New blood in there could be exactly what is needed to bring it home this year. Also, I like Burns and McNealy to be picks for this squad.

I wash all of mine in cold and hang dry. Haven’t had any issues. Hope this helps!
After these last couple weeks, no denying Gotterup is the hot hand right now. Zach Johnson made a mistake (my opinion) leaving the hot hand off the team and picking his buddies. That hot hand? Captain Keegan. I think he picks Gotterup and English based on performances lately. Let’s just hope we can win this thing on our turf.

re: Nashville courses

Gaylord Springs for public. Could also try Tennessee Grasslands which has 2 courses, Fairvue and Foxland (both private but may reciprocate). Those two are in Gallatin, TN which is about 25 min or so north of downtown Nashville.
Went when it was at Oakland Hills. Sat front row on 1 tee to see each group tee off. Got to see each group hit approach shots into 8 green. That was the only golf I got to actually see. Atmosphere is electric (albeit we got it HANDED to us that year). Crowds were 30 or more deep so it’s tough as a spectator. But it’s worth going if you can in my opinion. Just enjoy the day!
Golf: the most relaxing way to get frustrated.

Key is to always enjoy it (as much as you can) each time you get out there. We are all fortunate to get the opportunity to play. Not everyone can say the same.

I’m ready to be heartbroken……again.
You’ll enjoy it. Kid knows his stuff.

re: Pick one: warm up or stretch?

Stretching gets my vote. Maybe a few chips and putts along with it as well.
Monterey Peninsula (both Shore and Dunes)
Poppy Hills
TPC Stonebrae
Torrey Pines South
Firestone South
TPC Sawgrass
Cuscowilla (GA)
Cabot Citrus Farms (really great time)
Lots of vendors have great tournament offerings. What course is hosting the event? You can work with their head pro to secure some great items from a multitude of vendors.
Enjoy yourself! Most perfect place I’ve ever seen (lucky enough to attend in 2015). Pictures and TV do not do it justice. Agree with the merch call out. Get all you can! Enjoy every bit! Hope they still have the Georgia Peach Ice Cream sandwiches!

re: Anyone play Greystone lately?

Posted by Bogeymaker on 3/22/25 at 10:11 pm to
Possibly someone who doesn’t enjoy target golf. Course is in good shape. Firm and fast when I played today. Played like arse but that blame falls on me haha!

re: Let’s discuss cart fees.

Posted by Bogeymaker on 3/17/25 at 7:44 pm to
Cost of carts have gone up. Lease prices then increase. Cost of cart rental will also go up.

I still remember the days when the golf professional owned the cart fleet. Talk about getting some bonus $ at end of season!
Lucky enough to have 2 aces in well over 20 years of playing. Shocking (but true) I have 13 witnessed lip outs. With most of the folks I play with, kind of thankful they didn’t go in. Saved me a lot of $ on bar tabs!!!
