I think there'a absolutely a market and a huge benefit for a team event once or maybe twice per year. Its obviously got to be better structured and better positioned, and you really do need the top guys playing in it.

The PGA definitely should move to August but the tour probably won’t do that . TPC Louisiana is in great shape. The timing of the Venice is tough but it’s all a fun event to go to and the players enjoy the break from the weekly grind. Zurich is a great sponsor so hopefully they can keep the tournament going. The crowds have been big the last few years

I loved when the Louisiana tournament was before the Masters. Nice weather, and all of the top European golfers played.

Zurich is a great sponsor

I would expect them to pull out and pickup another tournament somewhere else.

Odd pairing and likely the last time we see either in NOLA.

Lowry is a Zurich ambassador so he
Has to play here . Koepka had to play alps since he is serving his LIV penalty

Good point, he’ll probably play with another ambassador next year. Zurich can’t be happy he laid and egg and missed the cut.

They're signed through 2030 and just extended their contract last year so it's not happening anytime soon

Lowry is obligated to play and Brooks and Rory (Lowrys former partner) are both Nike sponsor teammates. Rory threw Brooks a bone because they're friends behind the scenes

You would think Burns would play since it’s in his home state.

32 under leading is just a gimmicky event. Can’t fault Burns for taking a break in this important stretch of the season.

Brooks is playing because this should have been free points for him and he can’t get sponsor exemptions into signature events. He has to get in via his points or Aon Swing 5

Great finish to a great weekend. The Zurich and TPC looked really nice on those aerial shots.

Zurich has to be thrilled with the fitzpatricks winning.
