Seems like every day I get a new advertisement for golf photos from a new company. Does anyone have any reviews of brands they’ve tried that they really like?

Peter Millar.

Honestly, I have a closet-full of them and they've never let me down.

From golf course logs, to school logos, and their regular shirts. Always solid.

B Draddy shirts are nice but better for cooler weather because they’re more cotton-like than the tec fabrics. Linksoul same thing.
Stitch golf also really nice. Those are closer to Peter Millar type material

All of those periodically do mystery/sample boxes where you can get 3 shirts for $100 or so.

But mostly this:

My closet is full of golf polos from the following:

Rhoback - great fit, collars are the best
Vineyard Vines - close second to Rhoback
Peter Millar - great patterns, they all run about half a size too big
Johnny O - feel is great, collars good as well
Bald Head Blues - fit is nice, collars are not
Footjoy - some nice patterns, but they suffer from the Peter Millar fit issue

Actually, I am kinda fat these days.

Large in Peter Millar is about half a size bigger than large in Rhoback. It just makes it a little bit baggy for my tastes. Some of that is also sleeve length. But medium in Peter Millar makes me look like a stuffed boudin.

There's some guy on social media who talks about the factories where these are manufactured. In short, at each tier level most of them are made in the same factory.

I agree with this with one change, the really thin summer stuff is almost too thin and gets wrinkled too easily.

Not too much to add to what's been discussed but I also like GenTeal. They have my absolute favorite pants - clubhouse stretch 5 pocket. I have 5 different colors in those. Wear them to work and golf - hell, anywhere. Similar to the eb66 from Peter Millar, but softer feeling.

We also get GenTeal shirts for our annual War of the Ages tourney so I've got several of those now. Very similar to PM shirts as well but maybe a touch smaller. PM definitely runs big. Holderness and Borne are some great pieces of clothing and I like Rhoback a lot too.

Peter Millar are the best in terms of looks and quality imo. They last a really long time for tech fabric as well. They make a tailored fit that runs more true to size and looks better if you don't want it loose fitting.

ETA I bought a few of the obvious knock offs from amazon on prime day for like $20-25 and I'm very pleased for that price. Just search for golf polo and there are several options

These have become my favorite polos. I like the fit compared to Peter Millar and Rhoback. They are a bit more form fitting. I also like the button under the collar that keeps it in place. The only weird thing with Stitch is the way they do their sizes. I'm usually between a medium and a large in most companies, but I wear a small in Stitch. I haven't worn a small shirt since I was 12 probably.

I saw Druids had a 3 Polos for $85 deal last week. I have a buddy who has had some of their shirts. They came in today and are really nice. Its a European company so size up.

Typically, I am Johnnie-O or Peter Millar.

My favorite now and I am a long time Peter Millar guy

These have stronger collars if you are someone that doesn’t like a flimsy looking collar

Greyson for sure. Criquet also just came out with performance material and is a throwback style. Mizzen & Main. Peter Millar fits big but great quality.

A golf buddy told me that his wife found him some Peter Millar shirts at Marshall’s for $40.
I’ll have to check it out.

The only brand I buy, no fit issue unless you are slim...which I'm not. Fit great on dad bods

My closet is full of stitch shirts and one FJ. The shirts have in between sizes which I like. I also like that the collars are kind of tight around the neck to block the sun, but not restrictive. I also have their shorts, but they don't hold up as well as I would like.
