How red pilled for the Tour is this guy? What an absurd arguement, and a slap in the face to one of the most consistent players of all time. Truly embarrassing

All you unproven young players, don’t take guaranteed generational wealth when it would take a hall of fame career to do the same on the tour

I was pro-Brandel for years. He has totally gone off the deep end with this LIV stuff. I unfollowed him on Twitter because of his bitching and whining.

Huge slap in the face to Furyk. I hope he responds.

He's an elite level douche canoe. I'm glad he's really exposing what a count he is on this LIV stuff.

I agree. I still like when he analyzes swings but LIV has broken him. Constant bitching and moaning. While not directly, he relies on the Tour for a paycheck and he's just a cheerleader at this point.

Tempted to take 5, 10 or 15 million? I mean, they are choosing golf as their livelihood? Why would you not choose this? Chances are, the PGA Tour is still in their future anyway.

Brandel would leave the Golf Channel in an instant if he could get guaranteed money that far exceeds his present salary with only a few years commitment.

In fairness it’s all relative And just highlights the increase in purse amounts, and anyone either bot dumb as shite or trying to have an angle would understand

Furyk has made 72 million. That would be 600 million if he started today. That’s pretty eye opening and makes sense to use him to make a point.

But melt away Mingo and come in here and tell me how you are the only smart one here that gets it all

He's also had maybe the best career of all time concerning longevity, which is the point.

Certainly not, mostly just you and the 70 somethings. If you have to align yourself with guys with adult diapers you may want to reevaluate

Looks like the poster with the single digit IQ didn't like my post. Gee. I'll probably never get over it.

I was the second downvote because you complained about the first one

Aren't you the same poster that says I should quit posting because of the downvotes?

He probably would have blocked you not long after anyway.

I'm not a fan of the weasel, but I'll give him a slice of credit here for the poorly executed thought.

If a young guy with enough potential to get a one time deal with LIV is blackballed by the tour, it's potentially the wrong financial decision.

But this assumes LIV isn't a recurring offer, and that the PGA will ban these guys for life which I doubt.

Brandel was not even close to being one of the best players on tour during his day. If someone offered him a guaranteed 10 million in that day he would have jumped at that. Easy for him to pontificate about money now that he is older than dirt.

Don't know why everyone is worried or upset about what Brandel says about LIV. He get paid to bash LIV and as long as the checks clear, he will continue to do so. Just like it is Greg's job to bash the PGA.

What everyone fails to realize and what Monohan wouldn’t answer when asked is: The LIV players can decide to finish any commitment to LIV and re qualify or use their continued qualification (if applicable) to the PGA tour whenever they decide. Monohan won’t admit all LIV golfers can come back over to the PGA tour.
