I guess we’ll eagerly wait that press release from the PGA Tour. User LIV Golf Insider with the inside scoop

So FoxNews, who is now reporting PIF is done with liv after this year, who is a partner with LIV with FoxSports, is in on the pga tour conspiracy? That’s what you are selling?

apparently PIF is also pulling out of tennis, F1, etc. Complete landscape change
Some major changes coming for those sports then.

They just got into tennis. Was a rather small investment. F1 would be big change

I’m surprised if they’re out on Formula One. I would have thought they’d get out of all these other projects with no ROI and refocus that attention back to Formula One and Premier League? Those may not show the returns they’re looking for either though? I don’t keep up with them.

Is there like a QAnon version of LiV that you follow?

F1 pulled their race over issues in other regional counties not their own. I don't blame the Saudi's for being mad at that.

This is an email from LIV CEO Scott O Neil to employees: LINK
My two immediate takeaways are:
1. That’s written like a pump up speech to improve morale, not a statement on the future of the league.
2. There was a previous email that cast doubts and confusion on where the league stands. That’s telling IMO.
I think we find out a lot more tomorrow.

It reads like Jordan Belfort pumping up Stratton Oakmont employees while he knows the entire thing is a gigantic house of cards that is destined to come crashing down

PIF isn't pulling out of F1, they are trying to get more involved. They have been trying to own a team for a while and own a partial stake in Aston Martin. Saudi's love them some F1 and there is huge money in ownership that would actually make them money unlike LIV.

It sounds like LIV has enough funding to finish the year, but the Saudis are going to stop at the end of the year.
I wonder what that means for guys like Bryson and Rahm. The sooner they stop playing on LIV the quicker they are back on tour.
Not saying that happens, but interesting predicament.

In today’s business environment if another funding source isn’t announced within 2 months, probably less I think it will collapse pretty rapidly.
The vultures are already circling.

He’s got an impossible job right now. None of these decisions are his, but he has to try and explain them.

LIv literally with 100% the opposite pitch now from originally
“More time to stay home and relax” to “you won’t be home and your time and schedule is ours”

Wait until PIF leaves and they’re asking guys to #growthegame for no guaranteed money and significantly reduced purses

Yep, and O'Neil is a pro - if they had pulled someone in like him rather than a complete clown like Norman 3 - 4 years ago, they would have been in a much better position at this point. Probably still not financially viable, but on much more equal footing with the big boy tour in all aspects.
He's advocating for his product and people like any good leader does, especially in times of tumult and stress.
It was a good move to hire him but just far, far too late.
