Just what LIV needs, another washed up old guy.

If he can actually still play, it'd be a huge get for LIV imo. People have always been fascinated by AK and his disappearance

Kinda a shite place golf is in

Make the dude earn a spot playing pro like any other sport would. Is golf just a side show circus now?

How can one be in talks to return to the PGA? Does he have some sort of status still?

I’d be shocked if he could come through Q school to the tour at this point after such a long layoff from pro golf.

Go to LIV, get paid, and play stress free golf.

He could get a sponsors exemption to play in some PGA tournaments. Or he could LIV.

I had heard he was in Vegas a lot playing big money games.

Just read the article. With nothing more, could get into some tournaments on past champion status and would apparently receive several sponsor exemptions.

Expect proof of Bigfoot soon.

I hope he signs a deal with Liv to make up for the insurance loss.

Thrilled to have AK back. For those who don't remember this man once made 11 birdies in a round at the Masters

It’s a bad take to not want someone that hasn’t played a single event in 10 years to be handed status to any tour?

Go to LIV? Fine, that’s not a real tour with qualifications or tie ins to any real golf events. If the PGA offers him anything they are a clown show too

The legend of Anthony Kim is now bigger than his actually game was.

I'd still watch the first event back.

I thought he filed an insurance claim worth millions and would have to pay it back if he ever played again?

With as easy as it is to win on the tour now, he may win multiple times before summer.

Nah, but the roster is full

ETA: well I missed this detail. Wasn’t aware of this so maybe it is a possibility. He doesn’t necessarily have to play in Mayakoba next week

LIV is expected to play this year with 54-player fields consisting of 13 teams of four (52 players total) plus two “wild card” spots reserved for individuals.

You ready to admit you were wrong about this yet?

People would absolutely tune in to watch an individual, Anthony Kim, play in a tournament. Or is that because of his “story”? I guess you could say the same about Tiger. His “story” is trying to make a comeback to win another major…
