Yes he’s not the top 2 gets ever. He was third at his time.

Wasn't he the fastest to win 3 times only behind Tiger and Phil?

He just shot 62 at Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach two weeks ago when he played with three other PGA/LIV players.

I thought his insurance settlement said he could never play again.

But with the money LiV throws around, I guess he can just write a check to pay back insurance.

There's no way this can be true, right? Or, maybe it was true at the time but no longer is the case. Cuz Jordan Spieth and Tom Kim definitely have to have that beat I would think.

Through 122 starts

Anthony Kim-25 years old

3 wins, 22 top 10s

Sam burns-27 years old

4 wins, 25 top wins

The legend is so much more than the actual product. He had a beautiful swing and was a partner. Not a generational golfer

By the age of 25, Kim had 3 wins.
Sam had 1 at the same age.

He won two at the age of 23

Sam had 3 wins at 26. His career was almost identical to Kim. The Kim hype is so far off the tracks now

It was a timing thing. Golf at that time just didn’t have young dudes that were winning yet and people were starving for what’s going to be next after tiger, who is the young guy to challenge tiger

I guess LIV isn’t worried about OWGR points at all. I guess they may try and make their own majors now too

Complete with mulligans, red blasts, and closest to the hole competitions. Maybe even a silent auction too.

I said for the beginning, Kim signing with the Tour is a win for LIv, and LIv signing Kim is a win for the tour

He isn’t going to move any eyeballs. Golf nerds are who is obsessed with Kim. They are already watching.

But what signing him does is proves either tour has the argument of not being merit based

God forbid they give him a spot as a wildcard in 1 tournament. Doesn’t the PGA Tour have multiple sponsor exemptions every week?

No one said this because there’s no argument for it because he hasn’t played professionally in over a decade. The “merit” requirements are pretty well-known. His only chance with the PGA was and still is anything associated with his wins or sponsor exemptions. He doesn’t have a tour card and won’t just be given one.

There’s a chance at a medical exemption but again, that’s not merit based.

1 tournament of course is harmless

But both tour reports were they are trying to “sign him”. Which is a joke

He will most likely play in more than 1 tournament. Who knows what his LIV deal might be. Hopefully we might see him in some other DP/Asian Tour events too

How the hell did Hudson Swafford sign a deal to play as a wildcard in every event?
