At some point a bunch of taintlickers will be sitting around with their thumb up their asses holding 50 PlayStations and 75 Xbox’s

This has been the worst next gen console launch I can remember. Both Microsoft and Sony salivating at the chance to release the consoles despite a global pandemic and virtually no next gen games being available.
My PS5 is a glorified PS4 Pro that has the promise of playing PS5 games when they start releasing some time in 2022.

I've said it on here before but it's ridiculous how hard it is to get one at a reasonable price.
I had to spend $1200 a few months ago to get one and I'm glad I did. I'm seeing them go for over $2000 with limited stock for the foreseeable future.

If I’m paying hundreds of dollars for shite I won’t play, I can just keep buying games for the Switch and PS4. Or buy a used system solely to use for jail breaking purposes.
I’m just not at the point where I see killer apps making either of the next gen systems a must play to where it is worth a premium over retail plus a $70 game.

Honestly I'd prefer to buy a next gen console about 18 months after the initial release anyway
