Think I'm gonna pull the trigger on a SSD finally

Load screens on DayZ just won't cut it.

Seems like 120gb for about $100 is the going rate?

OCz makes impressive ssds. Vertex 3s and 4s are some of the fastest on te market. Reason I went we them.

I think the only SSD that reads/writes faster than a vertex 4 is an 840 pro

I have an OCz Vertex 3, I like and my only complaint is I want a 500GB I can justify purchasing.

Yea vertex 3 was my first 120gb SSD. Was in my gaming rig until te 4 came out so put it in my MBP.

Any OCZ drive before the 3 series is highly scrutinized. They were awful and failed all the time.

They vertex 3/4 are great drives, though

I saw the Sandisks were OOS for the 120gb, but THIS SSD is $5 cheaper and is a great drive. It uses the same sandforce controller as most of the other drives (sandisk, intels, kingstons)

Already haven problems with my PC .....

Came home today, PC was on, nothing showing on the monitor. Rebooted. No-post or bios. nothing. swapped hdmi cable out, nothing. Re-seated graphics card, nothing.

Graphics card gone bad? The fan on it is spinning when turned on.

If it was HD, it would at least post

Do you have onboard video? If so take out the video card and try connecting only to you mobo.

Are you getting power? What power supply do you have?

Should post up some specs!

sounds like a power supply issue

do any fans or lights come on your motherboard when power it turns on.

fan on graphics card? one inside the power supply itself?

are your power connectors in the right spots per the mobo manual.
are all connectors, connected.
correct voltage set on back of psu

why do y'all think power supply?

everything else powers up fine. fans, hard drives, and even the graphics card's fan.

yeh Jeff, everything else seems to be getting power and running like normal. I opened the case and everything looks right....just no output at all
