Quick question: Do any of yall just play from first person view or third person? Switch it up during certain things? I apologize if that's been discussed already.
In cities and traversing long distances I go third person. In combat and looking for loot during missions I go first.

Is this game worth playing PC right now? Seen some not great things so far(like every PC release these days) but I’ve got the itch to play.

I’ve got about 70 hours in and have had zero crashes or game stopping bugs. Just the usual Bethesda NPCs flying in to space and such.

Not sure where you are seeing this stuff, for a game of this scope is relatively bug free for launch

anything gamebreaking, not that I noticed and when I swap to PC, its mid tier GPU with top tier other guts...
I've heard of stuttering on older hard drives, but again, I skimped on GPU, not the brains

Combat, scanning and looting: first person
Every now and then I'll go 3rd when moving through the world (especially if I need to target something to interact with it and Sarah won't move the frick out of the way

I'm about 52-53 hours in and have had it crash to desktop once (although I was going in and out of it while in full-screen mode at the time). Aside from that, there's nothing other than the uncommon and random graphics glitch (which is part of pretty much every game) that I've encountered.

no crashes, but when I'm carrying above 450, it gets jumpy when I hit LB to scan

while its not horrible lets be real here. it has its fair share of bugs.
ive had about 4 or 5 in my play through that required me to to reload previous save states.

its one of the cleanest games I've played day one (plus the week before) in a long time..
I'm playing on X, a mid tier game PC and streaming it via gamepass on a Samsung TV..
its got a lag spot or a guy stuck in the floor every now and then, but its no cyberpunk

Same here. I had a bug where I changed a crew member on my ship while in it and when I tried to land it would freeze every time. I had to go to previous save, go to a planet and then change out.
I also had the bug with the into the unknown questline that I read about on other game sites.

Only bugs I’ve had are one random freeze/crash and now my party doesn’t wear their spacesuits anymore.

There is a mission to try out for a gang in Neon. Do it once you pick it up because I went back later and the door to the objective was inaccessible.

This has also been my experience. I was expecting far more bugs from a Bethesda game. I've only had one bug that required me to actually reload a save. I detailed that one on an earlier page.

Just finished the Ryujin quest line, I really really tried to do the last mission quietly. But after getting spotted for the 100th time by a guard randomly changing their patrol path I said frick it
I'm now 14 hours in, I've done one quest line and I've got about a 100 missions in my log from just walking around. I haven't even been in a dog fight since the introductory mission so I feel like I've barely even started the game.
